The story of our wedding

We were incredibly fortunate to have perfect weather on our wedding day, with a stunning mountain backdrop providing the ideal setting for our ceremony. Family and friends travelled from both near and far to celebrate with us, making the occasion even more meaningful.

Our celebrant, Abegeal Fisher-Lang, officiated a beautiful and deeply personal ceremony. She incorporated meaningful traditions such as a ring warming and handfasting, while also guiding us in writing heartfelt vows that we shared in front of our loved ones.

Pitt Meadows Golf Course ensured the day flowed seamlessly, transitioning guests from the ceremony into our cocktail hour—or, as we called it, "Rocktail Hour"—where they enjoyed delicious canapés and drinks. Guests also had the opportunity to leave heartfelt voice messages on our audio guestbook, cleverly modelled after a vintage rotary telephone.

Our DJ, Owen, from Airwaves Music, kept the energy high with an incredible soundtrack that perfectly matched the atmosphere throughout the day. Meanwhile, our photographer, Andrew Lukianuik, and his assistant, Michelle Diamond, had been with us since the morning, capturing beautiful candid moments. After the ceremony, they continued documenting unforgettable portraits of us, our wedding party, and our families.
