The story of our wedding

Josh and I got married on August 4, 2017 at Archeo, in the historic Distillery District in Toronto. We were planning for an outdoor wedding with a ceremony start time of 5:30. Josh and I had our first look earlier in the day, at my parents' house and went from there as a group to take our family photos before the ceremony. The weather was ominous all day, but the clouds made for great lighting. By 4:00 o'clock, the weather turned dramatic and it began to pour! The team at Archeo and our florists at Patchouli Design did a great job with bringing everything inside and setting up an intimate ceremony space. Even though it wasn't our initial plan, we still had a beautiful ceremony and enjoyed our day. It was so great to stroll through the historic Distillery District and interact with all of the tourists who were around. It definitely added to our wedding day experience. My advice for to-be-brides? Don't let things you can't control dampen your mood. I stressed out about the weather leading up to the wedding, but in the end still had a beautiful day. You can't control the weather, so why let it control your special day?
