We recently got married at Mountain Aire Resort & Campground, and I truly don’t know if I can put into words how incredible our experience was. If you are considering this venue for your wedding, I cannot recommend it enough.

First, the property itself is absolutely stunning. We had our ceremony outside on the grass with the river in the background, surrounded by beautiful scenery and fall colours. It honestly could not have been a more beautiful setting for our September wedding.

The pavilion was equally incredible. It is huge, beautiful, and such a great space for a large wedding. The massive glass door behind the head table opens up to the outdoors and gave us the most amazing backdrop for our reception. The kitchen was fantastic for our caterers, and having the tables and chairs already on site made things so much easier. The Bridal Suite was wonderful to get final touches ready before heading to the ceremony and a wonderful homebase for our bridal party to store all their phones and personal belongings.

One of our favourite parts of choosing Mountain Aire was being able to turn our wedding into an entire weekend with the people we love. We had over 100 guests staying on site throughout the weekend between the motel rooms, cabins, pods, and campsites. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about their accommodations.

We used the large cabin for the girls to get ready in on the wedding morning, and it was perfect. There was so much room for everyone, and the huge deck overlooking the river was absolutely beautiful. Being able to have so many of our friends and family staying together meant we could have a big dinner Friday night, breakfasts together, and spend so much more time with everyone than we would have with a traditional one-day venue. It made the entire weekend feel incredibly special.

And then there are the people. The owners and staff at Mountain Aire are genuinely some of the kindest, most helpful people you could ask to work with. They truly care about you and about making sure you have a great experience. I had what felt like a million questions throughout the planning process, and they were always patient, accommodating, helpful, and wonderful to deal with. You hear so many horror stories about wedding venues where problems suddenly start popping up after you've booked, and our experience at Mountain Aire was the complete opposite. We felt supported from beginning to end.

There are also so many little things that make this place special. The surrounding area is gorgeous, there are great opportunities for guests to get out and explore, and there are wild horses in the area. We were lucky enough to have the wild horses show up during our wedding weekend, and our guests could not stop talking about it. Seeing them with the river, mountains, and fall colours around us was something we'll never forget.

Mountain Aire gave us so much more than a beautiful place to have our ceremony and reception. It gave us an entire weekend with our favourite people in one incredible place, and those are memories we will have for the rest of our lives.

We genuinely cannot say enough good things about Mountain Aire Resort & Campground, the people who run it, or our experience there. We would choose this venue again in a heartbeat. Thank you for helping make our wedding weekend everything we hoped it would be and more.
