The Steeves House Museum is a charming mansion located in Hillsborough, New Brunswick. If you are looking for a quaint venue that oozes history then this is the one for you. With a big open space acting as a blank canvas for you to decorate it as you wish, you can let your imagination run wild! You even have the option to bring in your own caterer, florist and DJ.
Facilities and capacity
Available for hire is the Egypt Room, which can accommodate between 2 and 70 guests. The room is perfect for you to decorate it and the set up of tables and chairs can be decided by you. There is also a kitchen which you can access to prepare food.
The staff at Steeves House Museum will be more than happy to help you plan your special day. A range of services are offered. These include; set up, clean up, chairs and tables, tea and coffee, plateware and glassware.
Built in 1812, the original cottage was home to William Henry Steeves, born in 1814. William became Father of Confederation and then Senator Steeves. The house was later extended in 1840 to the 6000 sq. ft it is today.
