My husband and I had our wedding at Sun Peaks on Dec. 17, 2016. It was absolutely wonderful! The staff were very helpful and worked with us on many different issues. The food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was sincerely magical. It was their busy season, so there were a ... View more lot of people around, but we didn't mind the attention. People thought we were part of the attractions (as there were a lot of people dressed up and walking around) and were taking photos of us (So if that isn't your thing, I suggest going during spring/summer/fall months). It was wonderful, children thought I was some sort of snow queen! haha! Well, anyways, if we could do it there again, we would!

I had my wedding at the Delta Hotel at Sun Peaks during the off season (october). Very affordable during that time of year, and not a lot of tourists! I dealt with Valerie, the wedding and event organizer. She was very well organized and very detail oriented. She was able to ... View more provide me with a secondary option for the ceremony in case it rained outside - which it did. They were very flexible with letting us into the reception area to set up and also gave us a place to store our stuff over night. The food was amazing, and they even accommodated a guest with Celiac disease by providing her a massive plate of food. They were also very understanding when it came to the damage left by one guest on the carpet due to a lit sparkler (Note: if you're going to have sparklers, hand them out to guests OUTSIDE or else they will all start lighting them inside!). The banquet manager, Jay, was also very accommodating and made sure everything was perfect in the set up. The day couldn't have been as great as it was without these fine people doing such a great job at what they do. I highly recommend the Delta. It's a beautiful hotel.
