We’re so happy we chose Kimpton St. George for our wedding weekend! The day itself was perfect. The staff made sure everything ran smoothly, kept us on schedule, and helped us set everything up. Our guests loved the food and the overall vibe of the hotel. I especially loved how cozy and chic the space is—it was perfect for the vibe we wanted and made for amazing photos! Our photovideo team did a fantastic job using the hotel’s beautiful interiors in our shoot.
My partner and I stayed at the hotel a few days before the wedding with some of our guests. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I loved the little extras like a humidifier and kettle in the room (just ask the front desk!). The coffee/tea in the lobby and wine hour at 5 PM were nice touches too.

Quinn Sent on 19/04/2026Not Ideal for Brides Seeking a Smooth Planning Process
The experience here raised serious concerns from a planning standpoint.
We were told the venue was available, and then nearly two weeks later were told it wasn’t. That kind of reversal, especially after time has already been invested, makes it very difficult to plan with any confidence. Availability should be clear and confirmed upfront, not changed after the fact.
There was also ongoing inconsistency around the in-house restaurant requirement for catering. If that piece is mandatory, its availability should be aligned with the venue from the beginning, not discovered midway through the process.
All communication was through the main contact, Kristine, and there is no option to work with anyone else. This makes the experience entirely dependent on one point of contact, which became challenging when communication was delayed and inconsistent.
When “staff being sick” came up, there was no handover or follow-up, leaving us to chase updates ourselves. For something as time-sensitive as a wedding, this level of coordination is not reliable.
What should have been a straightforward booking turned into weeks of back-and-forth with no clear direction. We ultimately moved on to another venue that was able to confirm and proceed within 24 hours.
From a planning perspective and this level of inconsistency and lack of flexibility creates unnecessary risk. Brides looking for a smooth, organized booking process may want to take that into consideration.Kimpton Saint George Hotel's reply:

July wedding
It's a smallish hotel but we loved it colour and decorations. The staff were wonderful, assisted us with our needs and made my family feel right at home.Kimpton Saint George Hotel's reply:

Perfect wedding day at The Kimpton St. George
We celebrated our wedding at the Kimpton Hotel in Toronto, and everything was exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff was courteous and professional (special shoutout to Sameh!). Additionally, the pricing was very reasonable, offering great value for such a high-quality experience. Extraordinary micro-wedding at Kimpton Saint George
We love Sameh, he has been incredibly helpful and accommodating, the hospitality at Kimpton Saint George is above and beyond our expectations. At KSG, we feel like home, we love the cozy atmosphere and jazzy ambience. Everyone working on our special day were extremely nice and gave us the feeling of welcoming. I was so nervous but they made me feel so much less overwhelmed. Thank you Kimpton Saint George and the whole team for making it happen. Chic venue, conveniently located and amazing staff
We had a wonderful experience planning our wedding with Sameh! He was super responsive and always helpful. We didn't have a wedding planner, Sameh was patient, detailed and guided us along the way. We also had a great experience on the day of the wedding with all other staff at the hotel. The venue itself is also beautiful, chic and looked amazing on photos. Would definitely recommend KSG hotel if you are considering a wedding around 40 to 60 people or so. You won't be disappointed.Kimpton Saint George Hotel's reply:

Many thanks to Kimpton Saint George Toronto for hosting our wedding. The process begin early in the year with Sam, Express Meetings Manager. His professionalism, patience and ability to listen while showing he cared for his guests are some of his many wonderful attributes. Always timely with responses, organized and calm demeanor (some of the qualities that really help while planning a wedding!) He is a true, honest and genuine customer service professional. Everything from the food tasting, to the fun, artsy rooms and the recently renovated underground parking - the staff and team played a huge part in providing our family and friends with a memorable wedding weekend. The team played special attention as well to a few guests severe allergies and they loved their meals. Very accommodating with early check ins, keeping our wedding cake safe in their fridge and even cutting off a tag from my wedding dress before walking down the aisle - they went above and beyond to bring added peace and care. The venue was just the right size so it provided an intimate and warm space while allowing a lot of natural light into the space. The Fortune Fox Restaurant was also a relaxed setting to have cocktail hour! All guests loved the food as they said the meal portions were very generous. The bar staff were always willing to help and everyone did their part to service our guests with quality, care and excellence.Kimpton Saint George Hotel's reply:

Absolutely amazing
From.stsrt to end our wedding was a beautiful success and thanks to Sam and the team at the kimpton. We had 85 guests. The roommate up for ceremony was beautiful and then flipped over for reception. Everything was completed on time and looked amazing. The team Corey issac.pamela and Nicole were great. Accommodating. Caring and attentive all throughout the evening. The food was amazing!! A special shout out to Corey who was particularly attentive to my husband and I. Sam was extremely patient and accommodating with us. Would make any last minute changes we requested. This day was special and the kimpton
team made sure it remained that way. I can't rave enough about them all. If you're looking to have an intimate beautiful wedding this would be the place. The photographer found nice places around the hotel for pics. It was teule special. Thank you Sam and team!!!Kimpton Saint George Hotel's reply:
