  Such a magical place to get married!

  Magical place to stay AND get married! My fiancée and I spent 3 days here in the winter of 2017 to cat ski and had an incredible time with 0 complaints. We loved it so much we decided to get married here! It was the perfect choice, and all of our guests are still raving about the wedding one month later.
  Katie was great in helping us plan, and Kelsey was great leading up to the event and the day of. ALL staff deserve major kudos, as they perfected everything. The views and the rooms are out of this world, and we all agree the food is world class fine dining. Thank you Island Lake for making our wedding day so perfect!!!

  1000x yes to ILL

  Most incredible venue imaginable. Beautiful, excellent food (way better than typical “wedding food”) excellent staff, private, intimate. Everything we were looking for and more. Not one detail was missed. Would recommend 1000x over, the most perfect wedding, and all of our guests said the same

  Island Lake Lodge - Fernie BC

  Stress free, everything was taken care of, very professional, amazing Food, amazing mountain views, plenty of hiking and mountain biking or canoeing for your quests. The only criticism was that the drinks were very expensive. The wedding was outside but they did have log lodge we could use in case of bad weather. You had to buy their wedding package that was a 2 night stay.

  My husband and I were fortunate enough to get married at Island Lake Lodge this summer (2016). We were originally drawn to the lodge because of its unique location surrounded by beautiful mountains but it turned out to offer so much more!! The entire wedding experience was flawless, stress free and amazing. Nicole (the wedding coordinator) was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. During the wedding weekend she ensured that everything went as planned! The food throughout the entire weekend was incredible (our guest could not stop talking about it!). The bar staff, waiters/waitress, and all other lodge staff worked very hard to make our weekend perfect and it certainly showed. They kept our rooms cleaned, glasses full and always had a smile on their faces! We would highly recommend Island Lake Lodge to any mountain loving couple for their dream wedding!!

  Island lake lodge was the perfect wedding venue in the mountains. Breathtaking views, delicious food, and the staff coordinated the day seamlessly. They were so helpful and accommodating. The lodge even arranged for a last minute guest the night before and Nicole (the amazing event coordinator) made an extra calligraphy place card for the last minute guest. I would definitely recommend this venue to a friend.

  We were married there September 12, 2015. It was absolutely perfect. The scenery can't be beat, it is straight out of a movie. The staff are really kind and attentive. I didn't have to worry about anything - between them and my friend/wedding planner I could actually enjoy the entire day. The food was delicious - every single guest commented on how delicious everything was. I wouldn't have changed a thing and compared to other places I think its quite reasonable. Definitely would recommend.

  We had our wedding here on July 25, 2015. It was the most amazing wedding everything about this place is amazing and I wouldn't have changed one thing! If your looking for an out door dream wedding this is your place!

We couldn't have hoped for a better wedding weekend - we and our guests enjoyed everything from the SPECTACULAR venue to the the delicious food, and from the courteous and attentive staff to the the plethora of activities offered (hiking, fishing, canoeing, spa-ing, and exploring the beautiful town of Fernie). The planning process was made easy and efficient by the Lodge's excellent Wedding and Events Coordinator. We would wholeheartedly recommend it as a destination venue to any mountain loving couple!

  We hosted our wedding at the lodge this summer and it was an amazing wedding weekend! It was even better than we planned, thanks to all the little details Nicole and the rest of the staff looked after behind the scenes. We had great feedback from all our guests. They loved the lodge, the trails and the food. Many commented on the excellent service, and the staff were really flexible when our guests asked for something "extra" ( ie one guest over slept and missed lunch, but they made her a late lunch even though they were already prepping dinner, other guests asked about coffee after dinner and the waiter stayed and made lattes even though there was self serve Keurig in the lobby.
