We had our wedding at Hotel Ocho and it was truly the most beautiful day. From the planning process to the wedding itself, everything was amazing. Rish was incredible to work with—organized, kind, responsive, and made the entire planning process feel easy and far less stressful.
The team working the wedding day was also fantastic: attentive, friendly, professional, and genuinely cared that everything ran smoothly. The venue itself has such an amazing vibe, and using both floors created the perfect flow for the night. Our guests are still talking about the food, drinks, atmosphere, and location. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate. -

Perfect Wedding Venue
We had a truly incredible experience with Hotel Ocho! I honestly can't say enough about them just in this post, and I'm shocked that I hadn't heard much of them before our first appointment to check out the venue.
First and foremost, the staff is incredible. Rish and Sela felt like having 2 friends plan your wedding with you. They were true partners in the process and provided personalized support and we are extremely lucky to have had.
The venue itself is perfect for the flow of a wedding day. Use of both the downstairs and upstairs spaces was awesome and allowed us lots of flexibility in making the space our own.
The food was also phenomenal. We did cocktail style but still had plenty of food with wide-ranging options of really high-quality dishes.
The reasonable cost, personalized service, and overall flexibility is unmatched for wedding venues in Toronto! -

A hidden gem!
My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding at Hotel Ocho, and I cannot express enough how extraordinary our experience was from start to finish. From our initial inquiries to the final moments of our celebration, every aspect was meticulously crafted to perfection, making our wedding day truly magical.
First and foremost, we have to commend Sela, our incredible venue coordinator. Her kindness, professionalism, and patience throughout our planning journey were remarkable. She accommodated our numerous requests with a warm and positive attitude, answering every question, no matter how small, and ensuring that our vision for the day became a reality. Sela's dedication and attention to detail played a pivotal role in making our wedding day seamless and stress-free.
The venue itself is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. Its industrial charm, with exposed brick and beams, coupled with the cozy lighting, created a warm and intimate atmosphere that perfectly suited our 60 guests. The layout of the space worked exceptionally well, allowing for a smooth flow of the night and ensuring that everyone felt connected to the celebration. It was especially convenient for our out-of-town guests, as they could book rooms at the hotel.
The staff at Hotel Ocho are simply amazing. Their attentiveness and professionalism were evident from the moment we stepped through the door. Their genuine care and dedication to making our guests feel accommodated and taken care of made our celebration even more memorable. The compliments we've received about the food, service, and accommodation of special requests like dietary restrictions are a testament to the high standards set by the team.
We are eternally grateful to Sela and the entire staff for creating a day that exceeded our wildest dreams. Totally recommend for small-medium weddings!
Everything was better than I imagined -
We had a small wedding (40ish people) and got both floors. Loved the space – Hotel Ocho has this unique modern-art deco vibe with many details featuring metal and wood, so no decor was needed. All staff were super friendly and helpful and everyone loved the food, so 100% recommend! -

The Perfect Downtown Wedding Venue
We had our winter wedding at Hotel Ocho in February, and everyone loved it. Rish and Sela were knowledgeable and supportive to work with to pull off a great evening. We had an intimate ceremony with family only, followed by a cocktail party-style reception. The food was so good, and the venue was flexible. The location is superb, and offering rooms upstairs was a major perk. -

Amazing Downtown Wedding Venue!
Our wedding at Hotel Ocho was fantastic - the venue and staff played a huge role in making our day extra special. We knew that Hotel Ocho was the right venue for our wedding after we visited and toured the space with Sela, who was absolutely wonderful to work with from day one. We had lots (and I mean lots!) of questions along the way that were always answered thoroughly and promptly. Overall, staff were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond the day of. We had an incredible experience and would highly recommend Hotel Ocho as a wedding venue. As a bonus, the hotel rooms are also beautiful and great for getting ready/crashing in! -
