Absolutely thrilled with our experience at Fairmont Waterfront! From the moment we stepped foot on the premises, we knew we were in for something special. The level of responsibility and dedication shown by the staff was truly exceptional. The highlight of our wedding was not only the breathtaking venue but also the food that had our guests raving for days. The quality was beyond impressive, and we couldn't have been happier with the culinary delights that were served.
A huge shoutout goes to Nicole, our point of contact at Fairmont Waterfront, She was an absolute superstar and went above and beyond to ensure that our night was nothing short of magical. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and genuine care made us feel incredibly supported throughout the entire process. Thanks to Nicole's hard work and dedication, our night was truly unforgettable.
If you're looking for a wedding venue that combines elegance, outstanding food, and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, Fairmont Waterfront is the place to be. My husband and I as well as our out of town guests stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront during our wedding weekend. The hospitality was great, beds comfortable, and the views were amazing. Would recommend staying here to anyone! -

They did the best under the circumstance dumb Covid ! I felt for such a high end location they were rushing around I feel had they cleaned the area outside the day before, we could have had our dream wedding walking along the pool flowers lanterns music but last minute day of ohh the crows are angery! I had the shortest isle to walk down with my growen son it could have been so specialFairmont Waterfront Hotel Vancouver's reply:
Thank you for you taking the time to share your feedback, Michele. I recall your wedding day very well, along with all of the planning and preparation time that went into trying to create a special day for you despite the on again-off again circumstances surrounding the pandemic and BC health orders. We had an incredible package in place at the time which included ceremony space, flowers and decor, gold chiavari chairs, professional day-of coordinators, photo/video and marriage commissioner at a very reasonable rate. The original plan was to host your ceremony near our 3rd floor Herb Garden, however there were a few crows who took it upon themselves to nest in the area which lead to coming up with a "Plan B" on the day-of. We re-set your ceremony on the north-facing patio outside of the Terrace Room with the water and mountains in the background; the patio was cleaned and prepped prior to the ceremony and we gave the option of two different set-ups for this space, allowing one to have a slightly longer aisle. Our outdoor pool deck is not available for event rental as it there for the enjoyment of all hotel guests, so unfortunately was not an option for you on the day of your wedding. Covid certainly made wedding planning a little more challenging and believe that the team at Fairmont Waterfront rose to the occasion to help create a memorable experience for all of our weddings during this time. -

Choosing a venue is probably the most stressful thing on the checklist for a wedding but Nicole made the experience a breeze. Although I was unable to meet her in person during our initial walk-through of seeing the ballroom, she made sure that we were taken care of from the very start. Shoutout to Tobias as he provided us with a very thorough walk-through which ultimately helped with our decision to choose this venue. Throughout our planning, Nicole was quick, responsive and provided us with answers to questions I think weren't even part of her job! The vendors I used, all seemed to know Nicole well and highly recommended her. The coordination between her and the Fairmont team were seamless.
The venue itself is quite beautiful and doesn’t require too much decorations either (another selling point). The ballrooms and foyer were spacious enough for all our guests and we were able to fully utilize the space.
I do really want to thank the entire Fairmont team at Waterfront as they made our wedding day quite magical from the beginning to the very end. There is definitely no regrets on our end for choosing this beautiful venue.Fairmont Waterfront Hotel Vancouver's reply:

Honestly, when we first started touring venues, Fairmont Waterfront was at the bottom of our list - BUT that was only because we had been there for an event years ago PRE-RENOVATIONS. The ballroom was spectacular - it was an absolutely perfect venue.
The icing on the cake was truly, Nicole Folino - the coordinator for Fairmont Waterfront. I can't think of an email which she did not reply to the same day. This was particularly helpful because we were planning our wedding in Vancouver from Los Angeles. With Nicole, you are guaranteed to plan your perfect wedding!
