  The Whole experience was amazing! Mel was very good at helping through everything, and helped take a lot of the pressure off during the planning! The food was amazing, and venue was beautiful and clean. The overall experience was awesome and all the friendly, accommodating and professional staff helped make our day special! Thank you ALL!

  Melissa is excellent to work with. She gives great ideas and suggestions. But makes sure it is what you want for the day! Whether it be a small detail or for the whole venue. She made us feel very calm the day of the wedding. And stayed till after supper to make sure everything was alright. That is dedication!!! Thanks Melissa

  My husband Clay and I had THE BEST experience at Canad Inns Club Regent for our wedding reception. Melissa the coordinator was amazing. She was very knowledgeable in wedding planning and helped us with all the little details. On the day of the wedding, she was on site and handled all the details that I never thought of. She ensured that everything ran as smoothly as possible. Throughout the wedding planning she emailed us a lot and sent frequent tips and recommendations. She had recommended the DJ to us and he was amazing! Melissa was also very good at responding back to emails on time. We had ethnic food as a late night snack and she was very helpful in arranging that for us and got the chef's permission for us to do that (many reception venues don't allow this so we were thrilled that we could do that). We love Melissa so much and recommend her to anyone getting married! She was more than just a wedding coordinator during this whole process, she was our friend.
  
  The food was AMAZING! Our guests gave us many compliments on the food!! We had options of chicken, pork, and vegetarian meals and we did not hear any negative feedback from our friends and family. Everyone told us that the food was delicious. I had the half chicken and my husband had the pork roast and we ate absolutely everything off our plates. Back in January we had a food trial tasting and it was so hard to decide on what to choose as everything tasted delicious!
  
  The banquet team was also fantastic. They were super friendly and always had smiles on their faces. One of our guests had a dietary restriction that we were unaware of and when he told the banquet staff they said no problem and quickly brought him a new meal that fit his dietary requirements. We were very impressed with this!!
  
  Last but not least, the front desk staff was also great. I had arrived to the reception barefoot as my heels were bloody from the most uncomfortable shoes ever! And a lady at the front desk pulled out this briefcase full of bandaids and insisted I choose as many as I want. She was very sweet!! Our honeymoon suite was also beautiful!! We felt like royalty all day and wish we could relive every moment.
  
  Everything about our day was perfect and we will remember all the hard work everyone put in at Canad Inns Club Regent. Everyone made the whole wedding planning process much easier to handle and they all went well above and beyond any of our expectations!!!

  Canad Inns Club Regent was the last of the hotels on our list to check out for our reception when we were in the planning stages of our wedding. The minute we met Melissa we hit it off and knew we wanted to work with her for our special day. We are absolutely thrilled with the way our day came together and honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more! I almost cried when I saw how much time and work was put into getting the ballroom ready for our reception and that was the day before the event as the staff were diligently working away.
  On the day, Melissa guided us every step of the way as nerves kicked in, and even dried my tears just before I walked down the aisle with my dad.
  We received countless comments on how amazing the food was (we opted for the roast beef buffet) and how amazing and professional the staff and service was that day. Our guests put our wedding in their top wedding list - YAY!
  Undoubtedly Melissa went above and beyond to help us have the best day ever and we are forever grateful.

  Exceeds expectations - no hidden costs, guests are still talking about how good the food was (traditional turkey dinner), how beautiful the room was, the staff were very friendly, the planning part was so easy and painless thanks to Melissa McCoy. Even right before dinner, we made a few changes (minor things like needing mirrored tiles) and here is what really impressed me... both Melissa McCoy and Kevin (banquet manager) were in the room when I got there after the church ceremony and were on top of absolutely everything. They move quickly and even made my backdrop vision work although it took a little extra effort on their part... AND of course told me "no problem!" Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you I am perfectionist with a touch of OCD, and I cannot think of one bad thing about the entire experience. I am not one to hold back on these online reviews, but from start to finish everything felt easy and so organized. Even having a reduced rate for the executive suite was awesome. We looked at a couple dozen venues, but no one made us feel like they had it all together like this place does. Will add photos once they are back from the photographer.

  The Canad Inns destination center on regent ave has some of the most professional and accommodating staff we have ever encountered! Our special day was even more special as a result! Thank you to Melissa, Kevin, and Christina especially for all they did to help out

  My Wedding was Amazing! the staff was professional, helpful and amazing! my event rep was professional and helpful and the food was amazing!!! the décor was good, the set up of the rooms were good, and the use of the third floor was spacious and private! :) I loved our honeymoon Suite! and the access to casino was a bonus!

  Mrs. McKenzie,
  
  I wanted to take a moment to write to you regarding the exceptional staff you have at your hotel. Specifically Melissa Mccoy, Kevin the banquet manager and your Chef.
  
  For the organization of our NYE wedding, Melissa was outstanding. We planned a bit of a non traditional style wedding that was a bit more difficult to organize and Melissa never once shied away from any of our ideas and just said "we'll make it work." Even on the day of the wedding when I sent her a text regarding something she calmly replied "Jaret this is your day, you just have fun and I got this."
  
  As for Kevin, he as well made everything just happen. Even helping with a few small issues two days after the wedding was over, probably while he wasn't even working and still replying to my texts.
  
  And for Chef. Simply put I think every one of the 150 guests are still raving about the quality and presentation of the food that evening.
  
  Our special day was perfect and a lot of that was because of your great employees. Every one of our guests had nothing but praise and aw at how much fun they had, how great the room looked, and how amazing the food tasted.
  Please send these three special people on your team a massive thank you from Kelsey and myself. It was a night we'll always remember.

  My husband and I met with Melissa following meeting her at the Wonderful Wedding Show in January 2016. Melissa was so easy to get a long with and that is mostly the reason we decided to go with Canad Inns for our wedding. Melissa was very accommodating to our schedules, and would reply to my countless emails and phone calls as efficiently as she could. The venue itself was accommodating to not only ourselves but the guests. My new sister in law is vegan and had tears with joy describing the wonderful meal that the chef had prepared for her. The food prepared was amazing, the poutine bar was a hit. I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding as the venue had taken care of it all for me! If I could relive our special day over and over again, I would do so in a heartbeat knowing how well the Canad Inns staff took care of the details and myself the day of the wedding.

  Melissa was absolutely amazing in helping to make our wedding day fantastic. She was able to answer and question we had along the way and did so with a smile. Along the way she sent out countless emails with tips and tricks so that we may have a unique wedding, and so that nothing got missed. Our wedding was the greatest day!
