Since we were hosting a family-friendly wedding, we chose Royalton Splash Cancun in Mexico specifically for its incredible kid-friendly amenities, including its massive main waterpark and dedicated kids' waterpark. Stephanie was upfront from the very beginning, clearly laying out expectations and the scope of what she could and couldn't handle, meaning there were absolutely no surprises along the way. Her communication was always quick and concise, which kept us at ease during the planning process.

Stephanie went above and beyond to protect both us and our wedding guests. When package prices dropped, she successfully secured price adjustments for everyone. She also stepped in to resolve a major booking issue at the resort when the property ran out of standard swim outs and tried to force one of our guests to upgrade to Diamond Club. Thanks to Stephanie’s swift intervention, the situation was handled smoothly.

As for the resort itself, Royalton Splash Cancun provided a balanced experience. It is a large, vibrant, and fun property with an endless list of things to do, making it a paradise for families and kids. While the entertainment and water features were a huge hit, the food was just decent—it was completely fine, though we have had better all-inclusive dining elsewhere. Overall, if you are looking for an organized, transparent, and highly supportive travel agent for a destination wedding, we highly recommend Stephanie and Mangata Escapes!

Planning a wedding outside of the country is not easy. There are so many moving parts, and from the beginning, one of my biggest priorities was making sure our guests felt taken care of and excited for the trip, rather than stressed about traveling to Mexico for our wedding.

Stephanie and her team were amazing. They did all the heavy planning so we not have to and our entire wedding party had the most amazing experience connecting with her. We had people who had never traveled internationally and they trusted her to get the shuttle from the airport to the hotel with zero interruptions. We had a huge destination wedding (over 140 guests) and all were so amazed by how organized everything was.
We’ve been to other destination weddings since ours, and we have absolutely nothing we would change from our own since the bar was set so high- in fact we still love our wedding the best to this day!)

Being a "covid" bride, we had several issues and changes occur throughout the planning. Stephanie was there every step of the way. We had to change resorts about 10 months before the wedding. Stephanie got the changes made within days, got all our guests rebooked and assisted with vendor details etc. Our wedding week arrived and we had the most amazing experience. After our week 7 guests (groom included) tested positive for covid and had to remain in Mexico. Stephanie helped us navigate this and remained in contact until every last person made it home. There were so many other details big and small that Stephanie helped with. I'm eager to book another vacation with Mangata Escapes.

Stephanie is such a fantastic individual to work with. She works very very hard for her bride and her entourage from beginning to end. She is very patient no matter how many questions you may come up with in a day.
