Angie Waite at Destination Travel was the absolute best person to have as a destination wedding travel agent. I met Angie back in November of 2024 when I was just starting my wedding planning journey. She not only helped me pick out a wedding venue but also helped with coordinating all of my questions with my off site coordinator. She took lots of stress away from me because she knew who to ask and most importantly what to ask. When it was time to talk with my onsite planner, Angie helped me with those questions also. She was there to tweak my wedding website so it flowed and made since to all of my guests. She even worked me the abroad airport transfers so we had secured transfers to and from the airport. We worked together for so long I looked forward to our weekly phone calls. It was like talking to a friend. She didn't only care about how my wedding planning was going but also how I was doing emotionally. I could have never achieved my magical wedding day without Angie. Even after my local wedding planner quit, she stepped up and talked me through the stress and got me right back on track. I would definitely recommend Angie Waite as your destination wedding travel agent. As I now start to plan my honeymoon and other family vacations. I hope to use Angie and her company. Angie was great. She helped a lot. Not only did she help us plan the wedding, she was also a very responsive travel agent for our guests. It's a pretty unique experience to have wedding guests interact with your wedding planner, but I wouldn't have done it any other way. She made our dream day SO easy and carefree. We were questioning whether it was worth the money to hire a travel agent when it comes to our honeymoon. Booking online is not that hard, however, we would have never managed what Angie pulled together for us on our own.
She heard us out on what we were and were looking for and offered us options for each of the places we were looking at going. She even ensured that we got a honeymoon package which afforded us a special surprise at our resort.
When we got back and there was an issue with a refund being issued, that had nothing to do with Angie, she got right to it and is working with the vendor to get our money back. No issues for us to have to sort through.
Best of all she was super responsive through the whole process and is amazingly personable. We genuinely enjoyed working with you.Angie Waite's Destination Weddings & Honeymoons's reply:

Our first experience with Angie were as guests to another destination wedding and she was super helpful and made sure our travels were worry free. Our second experience with Angie was for our very own destination wedding to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Angie exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, she made sure our wedding planning was stress free and as smooth as possible. She handled all of our guest's travel bookings, was the main point of contact for everyone (to help reduce our stress) and even spoke to the resort on our behalf to ensure our wedding went according to our plan and vision. She took every request and question we had and ran with it and made sure we got all the information we needed. Our wedding going off without a hitch was thanks to her. We had a wonderful experience working with Angie to attend our first destination wedding for an amazing couple! We truly appreciated how Angie took care of every detail so that all we had to do was show up and enjoy. The resort - Iberostar Playa Mita was beautiful, with amazing food and service, and perfectly suited for both relaxation and celebrating such a special occasion!
Angie was very responsive and supportive throughout the whole process. Anytime we had a question, Angie was quick to provide clear answers and helpful advice. Her professionalism and genuine care made the entire planning stress-free, which allowed us to focus on making memories with friends and family.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience working with Angie. From the very first conversation, it was clear that they genuinely cared about making our honeymoon unforgettable. She took the time to understand exactly what we were hoping for, romance, adventure, relaxation and managed to deliver it all and ensure we were received exactly what we wanted. What stood out most was her incredible responsiveness and attention to detail. Whether it was answering our endless questions, adjusting our itinerary a few times or making recommendations, Angie, was always patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable.
Our trip was seamless from start to finish. Every flight, transfer, and hotel was perfectly coordinated, and we even arrived to a few special surprises that made us feel extra taken care of. I can’t thank Angie enough for all her help as my husband and I planned our wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica. We chose to stay at Sandals Royal Caribbean, and she handled everything—from setting up a group block for our guests to staying in touch with us every step of the way.
Angie scheduled monthly calls, connected us with our Sandals planner, and asked all the right questions, many we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. Even while on her trip, she checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The best thing is that we stayed within our budget.
Choosing Angie was one of the best decisions we made during our planning. We’ll be using her again for future trips!

We started working with Angie in January 2023 , 2 months after my baby proposed. From the beginning she gained my trust as she was transparent and answered all our questions from
the get-go. Words can’t explain my experience with Angie, Her patience and dedication to make you happy and the process not stressful is just amazing.
