My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Heather from Absolute Travel for our wedding and honeymoon planning and coordination. Due to a fairly complex set of requirements with family coming from both Australia and Canada, we decided on a destination wedding at Turtle Bay Resort, on Oahu. We trusted Heather to take care of any and all travel and accommodation requirements for our guests as well as the planning, contact and coordination of all wedding vendors on our behalf from Canada where we currently live. We also employed the services of a "day-of" coordinator on Heather's recommednation to assist her on the day who lives on the island, having someone "on site" prior to our arrival only days before the wedding proved invaluable. Heather was able to coordinate with her in a professional and efficient manner at all stages of the planning and made our lives stress free, we couldn't believe how easy the entire planning phase seemed to go.

Heather has been nothing short of phenomenal for us, she is understanding of any and all requirements, no matter how crazy or obscure they seem. She is the definition of professional, is pleasant to deal with yet also has the ability to know when and how to tactfully to push back in order to get the best for her clients. Having a positive relationship with vendors makes a huge difference and Heather is an expert at doing this well. She has a vast amount of experience with both weddings and travel, and is the perfect choice for any kind of planning that involves combining two critically important parts of any destination wedding.

Most importantly, I'd consider our wedding and the planning that was involved in it to be very complex, we had a significant number of guests for a Destination wedding (70) and with many moving parts requiring precise timing and logistics what blew me away most was heathers degree of organization, planning and scheduling, Heather knew exactly what needed to happen and when, she had every single detail documented (and memorized) and if we ever had questions or issues, she always had answers.

There is no way our big day would have worked out so well under anyone else guidance.

The second part of our requirements was planning the most amazing Honeymoon, we chose to visit French Polynesia and its many islands, again, this is a complex travel schedule as flights are limited in availability and plentiful in requirement, heather booked everything perfectly to minimize time spent in airports and maximize our enjoyment and relaxation.

A great example of this was that we were able to squeeze in an additional 2 full days on Kona (Hawaii big island) to see the volcanoes by helicopter due to this clever planning, as we were able to catch a direct flight from Honolulu to Tahiti by waiting 48 hours, this avoided an overnight trip back to LAX, then back again to Tahiti. We then had minimal time to spend in Papeete before our flight to our first island and were able to tick of a huge bucket list item for both of us in the meantime.

We chose to visit Moorea and Bora Bora as our two islands for a total of 8 days, including an overnight in Papeete, Heather was able to recommend the very best activities due to her extensive previous experience with travel in the area and every recommendation she made to us did not disappoint, she was able to book the items that required it, and actually told us not to book certain items until we arrived, this gave us a better deal and much more flexibility on the things that didn't need advance booking to better take advantage of the best suited activity for the ever changing Pacific Island weather depending on the day.

The hotels recommended to us included;
-Interconinental resort and spa, Papeete
-Hilton, Moorea
-Four Seasons, Bora Bora

And were nothing short of breathtaking, we met with Heather numerous times before deciding on our final arrangements and discussed our goals, requirements and "must-haves" and based on that Heather was able to secure the best deals at the hotels and resorts that also best matched with our needs.

Every part of our travel and activity schedule played out perfectly, the times were accurate, communication was clear, at no stage did we feel lost or overwhelmed, Heather is always contactable and as a client you never feel like you're on your own. At times when she is away, or uncontactable due to work commitments she always makes the effort to inform you beforehand or leaves you in the capable hands of one of her colleagues.

Obviously we are incredibly impressed with the service we received from Heather and the Absolute Travel company, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the services to anyone and will be definitely utilizing Her amazing degree of expertise again in the future.
