We have been discussing the idea of a get-together of some kind before the wedding (I’m hesitant to call it a shower because we don’t like the traditional feminine shower). Here’s my scenario:
I’m looking for something to host a co-Ed party of around 25-32 people. I want to have a sort of gathering where everyone can meet and get to know who they’ll be sitting by at the wedding because it’s so small. I can’t have it at anyone’s house because I’m the only local and my place is way too small. I don’t want to do a traditional stag-and-doe because I don’t want my guests to have to pay because most of them will travel to come. So I guess I want to know:
What did you do to get everyone together before the wedding?
How did you do it? Did you rent a space and diy it or go somewhere that did it all?
What did you do to entertain your guests and get the party going?
