My daughter chose Saunders Farm for her wedding, and I believe it is the best decision she has ever made, right after choosing her husband! I could not believe how absolutly perfect the space was! The arbour against a backdrop of beautiful flowers; the seating of comfortable wooden chairs set out theatre style with the aisle in the middle; the truly elegant interior with linens to the floor; seating to perfectly match the numbers and layout needed; charcuterie table, gift table, signing area for the guest book and polaroid pictures on a barrel provided, pie bar with raised shelves to create a truly unique and funtional space; all layed out to create an easy flow and perfect access. There is a quieter area over by the bar to relax, and easy access to all the outdoor spaces. We had approximately 115 guests, and it never seemed crowded, or empty!

Outdoors during cocktail hour there was a wagon ride and access to the bouncing space. My joy in watching my daughter having a complete blast cannot be expressed properly. The bonfire was set up after the dinner, with benches all around, a Smores bar and sticks provided to toast marshmallows. We could still hear the music, so wandering in and out was relaxed and fun.

Now lets talk about the food and the service!! Absolutely extraordinary! Mandy could not have worked harder, or cared more, if this had been her own wedding. She heard and understood everything my daughter wanted, and brought it to life like a fairy godmother granting wishes! She was available whenever we needed her before the wedding, for the rehearsal, and early on the day for us to decorate. She then never stoppped overseeing and guiding the staff to ensure a flawless delivery of drinks, food and direction for the guests. The staff were a perfect blend of friendly and professional, and as soon as we asked for anything they ran to make it happen.

Everyone raved about the food! Beef cooked to perfection was matched only by the oven fried chicken, with a debate as to which people preferred. Grilled corn, mashed potatoes, and the most amazing to me, perfectly tender and tasty green beans. We also had a vegan alternative, a lentil shepherds pie, that was devoured by everyone else as well. The food was served family style in casseroles to the table, so that each guest could have as much or as little of the dishes as they wished. (There was admittedly some trading and stealing between tables!) Everything was hot and delicious!

A pretzel bar magically appeared later in the evening, and more raving about how delicious and varied the offerings were, as well as kettle corn and toppings.

As the mother of the bride I felt taken care of and actually relaxed and left everything to our wonderful hosts. Well done, Saunders Farm!

We had our wedding in the Cider House and I couldn't of asked for a better day. The weather, the staff, the food, the venue was excellent. We had 35 people and it was perfect. Something for everyone. With the ceremony outside to the sit down dinner inside to a yummy pie bar. Kids played outside on the structure, some played bocci ball, others sat by the bonfire making smore's and we dance the night away under the twinkle lights in the courtyard. I would totally recommend Saunders Farm for your wedding. I am still getting compliments from our guests!

After searching for wedding venues in Ottawa and touring at least half a dozen, when we toured Saunders Farm we knew their Cider House was the best venue for us. It had the rustic feel we were looking for and a great size for our smaller wedding. We had access to the entire farm and our package included everything from a wagon wide, bonfires with smores, fudge favours, food, linens, etc. The only things we needed to outsource were officiant, florals and music. There are several beautiful ceremony spaces on location for use. The value of our package was incredible, much better than quotes we received from other venues. The staff were responsive and so friendly the day of the event. The food was delicious, we got several compliments on it, and they offered a fun tasting event beforehand. I would highly recommend this venue.

We had the pleasure of getting married at Saunders farm on September 9th of 2023 and we loved every minute of it. The staff is amazing! *Please note that we were planning during the transition of the previous event coordinator leaving and the communication/transfer of knowledge was no issue at all* The planners, coordinators, servers, bartenders, operations staff, and kitchen staff are all outstanding. The food and drinks were well above the standard for typical wedding/event fare. Any request that you have they will do their best to accommodate. The farm provided much more than a typical wedding venue at our wedding we had access to walk the grounds of the farm, wagon rides, jumping pillows, lawn games, bonfires, and more! The ceremony the dinner and the reception were executed flawlessly thanks to the DJ. Our DJ was able to create a plan with us for a soundtrack to each moment of importance. The style of service is not by any means white glove but it is professional, fast, and most importantly genuinely friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue for couples who are looking for a venue with several beautiful ceremony and reception spaces, amazing staff, delicious food and drinks, and lots to offer in the way of activities.
I'm confident that guests enjoyed themselves just as much as we did and that means the world to us!

We got married June 2022 in the Cider house at Saunders Farm with approx 60 guests. We are obsessed with how amazing our wedding was and 6+ months later, our guests still talk about how much fun they had! All the staff was EXCEPTIONAL and def my fave part - they made sure everything went off without a hitch! Even made sure we (the bride and groom) remembered to drink water and eat! The food was delicious, the drinks were flowing, there were things for the kids to do, and has SO many places to take pictures. Highly recommend having a bonfire if your able to, it was such a hit. If we got married again, we wouldn’t change a thing and would 1000% do it all over again.
