Spectacular transformation…

Daughter married recently in late August and It would be a struggle to find something negative to say about Adélina Barn, the staff and all those that worked to come together for this event! We first viewed the venue in May-it was “rustic” and lacked any greenery. Well, last week it was like an entirely new location-transformed by the beautiful landscaping and the obvious care that staff take to make this the picture perfect venue that couples dream off.
Danielle, Francois and Michelle know what they are doing-they do it well and make every effort to ensure that events inflow SEAMLESSLY. The catering by Thyme and Again, was amazing for a large wedding for this venue (80)- the food was top quality and it was actually hot when served!. The fire outside was a great touch and a place for people to gather and catch-up. Also a nice place to warm up during a cool August night. The floral arrangements (done by the venue) and the numerous decorating enhancements made the barn sparkle. If your visiting to make a decision, do so in July or August or following a recent wedding so you will get a true view of just how beautiful this location is.

A couple things for the feint of heart to be aware of. First, the washrooms (one each) while pretty and upgraded, are outdoors and latrine type in nature. But Adélina has indicated their intention to improve these next year. Just be aware.
Second-there is a no shots policy (except maybe during dinner once for a toast to the bride). This is an EXCELLENT IDEA for so many reasons that don’t need mentioning.

Beautiful but..

We toured Adelina Barn as a potential location for our wedding and were impressed by the beauty of the space. The grounds/building are truly stunning, and the staff were polite and informative during our visit.
That said, we were surprised and disappointed by the payment terms outlined in the contract. The venue required 50% of the total cost to be paid two years in advance, which is significantly more than the industry standard we've encountered at other venues. Most venues ask for 25% at booking,
with the rest due closer to the event. While every business is entitled to set their own policies, this payment schedule felt inflexible and risky from a client perspective, especially so far in advance. It ultimately influenced our decision to go in a different direction. I am sharing this for others who may be comparing venues - the location is beautiful, but make sure you are comfortable with the financial terms before signing anything but we were not and decided to go with a more conventional venue with normal contract fees. Parking spaces are extremely limited at most 15 cars as it is in the woods, the proprietor was lacking, seemed impatient somewhat, a bit greedy and inflexible, this raised a big flag for us.

Owner micro managed, had kid in photos, wore white

Michel is very unprofessional. She wore white to my friends wedding, made comments about her being late and also let her young child run around the venue so when the flower girls were walking down the isle he ran up to them ruining all of the pictures. He was wearing a bright orange timbit jersey. Microphone did not work, every review we write they come up with excuses and don’t take accountability. Also had a showing on the day of my friends wedding while she had personal pictures and decorations up. Horribly managed. Owners ruin this venue. They even emailed my friend about her bad reviews. Extremely unprofessional. Also did not take covid seriously and complained we wanted to use water bottles instead of their communal water jug.

Unresponsive

My fiancé and I both wrote to Adelina via app and their personal email provided on their website at the beginning of August. We reached out again later on in September and they only answered back end of November stating that it was an issue with their caterer . Honestly we were really looking forward to meet them, but because of the lack of responsiveness on their end and brushing it off with a sorry excuse we decided to go somewhere else.

Dream venue

Adelina is obviously gorgeous. That is the first thing that draws you to the venue of course. The moment we walked on the property we were welcomed into Micheles arms, and felt at home at the venue. Her parents showed us around and chatted with us even after our site visit ended. We felt at home and welcomed. Communications with Michele have been smooth and delightful. So thrilled and so happy to be working with Adelina for our big day!

Adelina is a magical place - you can feel the love there

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Adelina in the fall. It was honestly one of the most magical places I've ever been in my life. You can feel the love from many happy weddings radiating through the space... And both Greg and Michele were amazing the entire time. We got Michele to do our florals and they were better than what we could have imagined. The land had flowers, an amazing barn, and a wonderful bonfire to sit at. A lot of my friends also hung out with the chickens that are there as well! The entire process with Greg and Michele was so seamless and kind. They were easy to work with and were just fantastic people.

Best Day of Our Lives!

The team at Adelina and Urban Element were unbelievable! They went above and beyond for every little and were so accommodating. It's truly a beautiful venue and our guests cannot stop commenting on how great the food was!

The most magical venue and team!

Michele, Greg and the Adelina was more than we could have ever dreamt of for our wedding! The venue is so romantic and magical and Michele and Greg were so lovely to work with; we now consider them dear friends! The property is stunning and so beautifully manicured and maintained. Leading up to the wedding, Michele and Greg were quick to answer any questions that we had, and were so flexible with the space. The day of the wedding, Michele and Greg were on site helping out, taking videos and photos, and even bringing their little boy to play with other kids! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us create a memory that we will never forget!

Our perfect day!

This venue is just magical! Really, I can't describe how gorgeous this place is! Michèle & Gerg (the owners) are so professional and are so easy to work with. I would recommend this venue to everyone. One visit and you'll be charmed for sure!
