The story of our wedding

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. We had hot weather, 10 degrees warmer than seasonal average to be exact, sunny skies, and the day went off without a hitch. Our colours were burgundy and blush, and our decor was rustic and antique. I made a lot of the decor myself and it actually turned out surprisingly well. We had a breathtaking ceremony overlooking the surrounding mountains and farmland of Salmon Arm and had a very laid-back and intimate reception in the barn at Dolan Creek Farm. We had a spit roast pig for dinner and our caterer was so careful to make everything gluten-free as I am Celiac, which was so appreciated. Our baker decorated our dessert table beautifully and it tasted amazing. The evening was a mix of nostalgic speeches, competitive lawn games, drinks, dancing, and a sparkler send-off. We even had a little sneak-away photo session on a small dock behind the property which made for some of our favourite photos from the day. So many people helped make our day possible, which was a true reminder of how loved and supported we are. I still can't believe how well everything went, and only wish the day could have lasted longer.
