We needed a photographer/videography service this year for our reception and because of Covid, we needed a company besides our wedding-day photographers. This is where Glimmer and Corey pull through for us.
They offered a great package at a equally great rate.
On the reception day, one of Glimmers photographers met us exactly at our scheduled time and location (the orpheum) and really made the pre-reception shoot enjoyable. The photographer went out of their way to incorporate the unique architecture of the location and that was something we really appreciated. Quality over Quantity. Overall, the 2hour pre-shoot was great.
That same day for the reception party, Glimmers photographers/videographers made sure to connect with the myself and parents/family members of interest to ensure that the right shots were being taken. They were very approachable when we needed specific shots and ensured the groom(myself) and bride were included in shots/videos as needed.
Overall, I highly recommend Glimmer and their Services.

When my wife and I met with Glimmer Films for the first time, we knew we had to have them do our wedding. The had a lot of knowledge about Indian weddings and it made the process a lot easier. The contract was clear and there were no misunderstandings. Due to covid, we also had to change our wedding date and reception date a few times and they were able to always accommodate and be there for us even on short notice causing their crew to not to be able book other events. The crew were all so cheerful and happy and made us have a lot of fun during the photoshoots as if we were models! We would definitely recommend Glimmer Films to all our friends and family. I booked Glimmer for my wedding week in May 2021. Corey was super responsive and helpful, and accommodated all changes to our booking in light of the changing restrictions due to Covid-19. The Glimmer team went above and beyond to ensure our wedding week went smoothly even with the uncertainty of restrictions. They provided fair and reasonable solutions (e.g., date changes, refunds) as applicable in our situation. I would highly reccomend the glimmer team as they are professional and communicate in a timely manner.

We enlisted Glimmer to film and photograph our wedding week back in October 2019. From the time we had the first chat about quotes and requirements, they were much more knowledgeable about Indian weddings than I expected. The contract was clear and organized. Living in Ottawa and planning the various ceremonies in Vancouver was quite easy with them too.

In general, my wife and I would recommend doing your research regarding video and photography styles to ensure you get what you want if you are looking for unique scenes, music, etc. Glimmer staff are very well versed in a wide variety of styles but we did a lot of research on their past videos to pick out things that we didn't want, not that they were bad or anything. Just simple things like we didn't want instrumental music in our next day edit whereas many previous couples decided to keep the standard instrumental music style. Nothing huge but something to keep in mind.

Glimmer was also really fantastic editing our videos live through Skype - it was a breeze. I thought this process was going to be long with many iterations but it was quite fast.

Their staff was very enjoyable to work with - everyone was very easy to communicate with and they genuinely enjoyed the moments in each event. Basically, very enthusiastic.

Highly recommend Glimmer to those looking for easy of communication and ultimate quality of their product. Their pricing is quite competitive.

My husband and I made the decision to get married in 2018, and right away we started to look at all the venues and vendors we needed in 2019. I had always been a big fan of Glimmer, and had told my husband that. We went to meet the team in their office with our parents, and from that day onwards, we have never regretted our decision. Glimmer covered ALL our wedding events along with our pre-wedding events: photos and videos. The team was so patient with us and our families at every event. They shared their knowledge with us as they were walking us through the routines, which helped our families and us as a couple as well. We worked with over ten of the talented team members and they were all amazing! If you are interested in taking a hands on approach to make sure your videos and photos turn out just as you imagined them, then we heavily recommend GLIMMER!

If you’re looking for someone to capture all the special moments during your wedding, go with Glimmer Films. The entire team was so easy to work with and was very accommodating. They listened to what we wanted to capture during our wedding festivities and also used their own judgement and experience. As a result, the final products turned out amazing. From candid shots to photo shoots, everything was immaculate. The quality of images is absolutely breathtaking.
The wedding video was shot in way that it brought those moments back to life. We didn’t want to watch hours of our raw wedding footage, so the editing had to be perfect. Glimmer did such an amazing job at showcasing the entire wedding without giving the feel that anything major was edited out.
The quality of photo books we received of our pre-wedding shoot, the wedding album, and the guest book, is something that is made to last for years.

I hired Glimmer videography for our same day wedding and reception. Their team arrived earlier than given, which was great, and were friendly to work with. Given the circumstances that the entire wedding was in one day, they did a great job. I was in communication with Corey the entire time and he was very friendly, easy to work with, and showed professionalism. When my wife and I sat down with the editor to review the footage, it was a great experience. He was very helpful and patient when we were choosing what music and what scenes to show. Overall I would recommend Glimmer to anyone for any occasion.

Glimmer films did an excellent job in creating and editing our products. The NDE was beautiful and captured many key moments. The photographers and videographers were very easy to deal with and made us feel comfortable and helped out when there were a few technical issues with the hall for our reception. Editing was a very smooth process as well. We received our final products within a reasonable time frame and were happy with all of them. We would definitely choose Glimmer Films again!

Glimmer was absolutely amazing! They were timely, professional and catered to exactly what we wanted. We still get compliments on our pre shots, wedding photos and next day edit film. As everyone knows, weddings consume a lot of time and stress and Glimmer made this process very easy. They were emailing and checking in to remind us of various requirements for slideshow/canvas' etc. The support we received was impeccable. My husband and I wanted to find a team with a fantastic portfolio as our wedding was coming up in February. We were referred to a company by the name of Glimmer films located in B.C. After talking with Brian and his team, we were confident that we made the right decision in having them capture all our memories. The whole experience from the beginning to the end was very professional. We never had to worry about missing any moments as the team had video and photography captured them from every angle. We are nearing the end of the final product completion and are amazed at the creativity glimmer has put into our photo and videos. Brian even made sure that we had a great photo shoot after learning that our wedding planner decided to leave our venue. We were clearly distraught and and frustrated about that incident, however, Brian made sure it didn’t show. The pictures turned out amazing!
