Just like most couples about to be married we were on a budget, yet trying to plan our dream wedding. Then the thoughts came rushing in...What do we want for our big day? What were we willing to splurge on? What can we cheap out on? What can we do without? The best thing we did for our wedding (among saying "I do") was googling Wedding Videographers. Blush Wedding Films came up an we read their awesome reviews. If that wasn't already enough, we watched their previous wedding films on display...we were in LOVE! You know those "lovely" people in your inner circle, who like to give their two cents...they aren't lying when they say your big day FLYS BY! That's the advice we did listen too, an boi were they right! Sooooooo fast in fact the only thing that kept me from ugly crying at the end of the night, was knowing we could watch it all over again...FOREVER! We chose to get our day on film for a number of reasons. We wanted our future children to see every aspect of that day. To see those family on film that years later may not be around. To have DVD's for those members who weren't able to attend. To watch it all again on our 25th wedding anniversary. To see each other's mornings and moments that we weren't around too witness. Or possibly to look back at our more fit selves...because I personally won't ever be that skinny again. We can't even believe how wonderful Rick & his team of professionals were. We had pretty high expectations as that is just the kind of people we are. They exceeded every expectation and beyond! They were there for us from beginning to end an were extremely professional. Tyler an I didn't have to worry about a thing on that day, they were our glue! My husband is not the emotional type, but when that DVD makes his eyes water all over again...worth every penny. If I can give you some advice, along with all the others giving you advice for your big day. A VIDEO IS A NECESSITY! You won't regret it, actually you will regret if you don't, and best of all it's affordable. Of all the expenses that come with that special day, do this one expenditure for you!

Rick (Blush Wedding Films) shot my brother's wedding in Toronto in 2010. I looked him up almost immediately after I got engaged in October. Even though he moved to Peterborough he had no problem agreeing to work with us in Toronto again this summer. We had an initial meeting where we talked about his services, pricing, and products. My husband was not convinced that we needed a videographer at all, as it is a considerable wedding expense. Around the same time, we also met with photographers who had videography packages, so we put some serious thought into how we wanted to proceed. There is NO comparison for the final product - Rick's work is superior. We spent a lot of time reviewing sample videos from different vendors and Rick's videos were just better. Less shaky cam and awkward transitions were the most obvious features, and I'm sure there are many others. And so we went with Rick.
Rick is one of the most genuinely nice and funny people you will ever meet. He is organized and highly responsive to e-mails. He was getting in touch with us to see if we needed anything, including any additional face-to-face meetings, to help with preparations. During the wedding planning process I ended up e-mailing him planning questions that have NOTHING to do with videography, just because I knew he would have a sensible opinion and advice for me, and he seemed genuinely happy to help.
On the day of, I can't believe how much time and energy he spent on capturing everything - he showed up at the salon where I was getting my hair done before any of my other bridesmaids did! Sometimes he stepped back and did his thing, and at other times he prompted and filmed different conversations/interactions, and I'm sure it was all very deliberate and he was cooking up a meaningful and (probably very emotional, for me at least) wedding video for us. He seemed excited about the footage he got by the time he left. I am now a bit sad that I did not think to get a photo with him at the wedding.
We got married 3 weeks ago so I haven't gotten the final product yet. But I still have the confidence to write a perfect 5-star review because I have seen a lot of his work, and I really really enjoyed working with him, both in the planning stages and on the day-of. You would be really silly not to choose Rick to do your wedding videographer. He was one of the best experiences in my wedding planning!

Blush Wedding Films went above & beyond my expectations. Very accommodating, professional, friendly & so much more. They were with us the entire event, approx 8am-11pm. Rick & his team captured both the Bride & Groom all morning, no details were missed! Rick was excellent at communication, regardless of the question we asked or the time we sent an email he would respond right away with the exact answer we needed. When the team was at our wedding ceremony & reception, their equipment was set up so professional it was like they weren't even there. The cameras were out of the way, they weren't a distraction at all :) After everything was said & done Rick ensured everything I wanted captured had been captured before he left. Rick & his team were very flexible, which was amazing for us because we had time to relax & enjoy the night. We did not have to get everything done at once to make sure it was captured by Rick & his team. After the wedding & the days/weeks following, Rick still had constant communication with us. He gave us daily/weekly updates on our video and anything else he required from us. Not only did we get the final clip, we got all the rough footage from everything throughout the day:) We had our video & copies for family members just in time for Christmas which was perfect :) Approx 2 months after the wedding. This seemed very standard & professional in length as our photographer had our photos back roughly around the same time. I would rate Blush Weddings 11/10 if that was possible. They blew my mind & If I/we ever need video coverage again I would 100% book back with Rick & Blush Wedding.

I did not discover Blush Wedding Films until it was too late to book them for my wedding but from what I have seen the work they produce is incredible and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a high quality, professional wedding film. The work is absolutely amazing. So beautiful and creative. i have already recommended them to several of my friends.

Rick was a real gem to work with. When we started researching videographers for our wedding, we were horrified at the terrible quality of the "professional" wedding videos that other vendors had on their websites. We decided that if we could not find someone who could produce a good wedding video, then we would go without. Then we met Rick. Rick is a consummate professional who has a wonderful attitude and worked very diligently with us. Rick is one of the only Glidecam operators in the GTA and his talents in shooting and in post-production editing created a beautiful, high-quality HD video of our reception and wedding. We cannot recommended Rick highly enough.
