Our deepest gratitude for the extraordinary job Libby did as our wedding director. From the first meeting to the final send-off, she demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to perfection and an exceptional attention to detail that made our special day absolutely magical.

The decor was nothing short of amazing—every element thoughtfully curated to create a breathtaking atmosphere that perfectly captured our vision. Her ability to transform our ideas into reality surpassed our expectations, and the result was a wedding that felt like a dream.

One of the aspects we truly appreciate is how Libby managed to keep costs lower than we anticipated. Her resourcefulness and creative solutions not only saved us money but also ensured that we didn't compromise on the elegance and beauty of the event. Her financial acumen is truly commendable.

Throughout the night, Libby’s guidance was invaluable, especially as the celebrations unfolded and we found ourselves, admittedly, a little more spirited than planned. Her calm and composed demeanor, coupled with your expert navigation, allowed us to enjoy every moment without worry. Her presence was like a guiding light, and we are genuinely grateful for her unwavering support.

Libby’s input and advice were not only helpful but also showcased her deep understanding of the intricacies of wedding planning. Her design ideas were awesome, and her ability to bring them to life left us in awe. It's evident that she has a true passion for what she does, and it reflects in the excellence of her work.

Ivan and I are truly grateful for the positive energy she brought to every meeting. Her readiness and attention to detail reassured us that we were in capable hands. Libby’s dedication to making our day special did not go unnoticed, and we can't thank her enough.

From the moment we got engaged in March of 2021, we knew it would be essential to work with a trusted professional to help bring our wedding's vision to life. From our venue (Four Seasons Hotel Toronto) to the band (Sole Power Live), photographer (Purple Tree), videographer (Hidden Light Films), stationery (So Pretty In Print), décor/flowers (R5 Event Design), and more, Libby helped us secure it all! She worked hard to negotiate our contracts to ensure we kept within our budget. She also helped us build an incredible event day itinerary, oversaw all logistics, and reassured us that everything would run as smoothly as possible and be perfect on the wedding day.

Best of all, Upon Occasion offered hands-on support and guidance throughout the entire planning process. She was there whenever we needed her and was always more than happy to answer any questions. She was with us from start to finish, ensuring an elevated and seamless event planning experience. We had so much fun working with Libby. If we could do it again, we would choose Upon Occasion EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Libby from Upon Occasion is a phenomenal event planner! Our guests were raving about how fabulous our wedding was, and I want to do it again!

We envisioned an elegant Russian-Egyptian fusion wedding, and Libby made it a BETTER reality in just 3 months from start to finish. She made it so easy, and we loved working with her! Libby is fundamentally a project manager and she did everything everywhere from the big picture down to the little details and wouldn’t rest until it was perfect. She’s extremely diligent and organized, professional, straightforward, and on top of her game leading the event, not to mention- hilarious; we just had the best time.

Libby went above and beyond at every step. She even negotiated custom packages and services that were unconventional and in some instances, not permissible, but she made it happen, truly having our best interest at heart.

She understood exactly what we needed and found the perfect vendors for us. Libby and the team made our day precious and unforgettable. It was such a happy wedding day for everyone, and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner than Libby!

The most phenomenal wedding planner!!! The journey that my fiancé and I went through with Libby was amazing. We’ve been together for almost an entire year, having to change the date FOUR TIMES because of covid, Libby handled everything for us so we wouldn’t have to endure any more stress then we already had. Libbys organization, patience and true passion for her work truly presented itself during all the planning and especially on the wedding day itself. She made sure everything went smoothly, and was there for almost 20 hours running around ensuring everyone was doing their part to make our day flawless. We are forever grateful and will cherish the special bond we have created for many years!

If we could give more stars, we would! Libby at Upon Occasion is the absolute best and went above and beyond to make our wedding beyond our wildest dreams! She made the planning process a breeze and absolutely painless! She has lists of amazing vendors that she has worked with before and have good relations with; all of which were amazing! On the day of the event, she didn't stop running around to make sure that everything was perfect and went down without a hitch! She is extremely organized, diligent, and responsive; everything that you need in a wedding planner! Throughout the whole process she truly had our best interest in mind! We cannot wait to continue our relationship with her as she has truly become a part of our family!

Consummate Professional…Unflappable…Organized…Experienced…detail oriented…Personable… A Class Act! These are just a few of the many adjectives that I could apply to Libby and my experience in working with her. I found Libby during an online search while attempting to plan my son’s Bar Mitzvah on my own in the mist of COVID, 1.5 months before the event date. By the time I reached out to an event planner I was already anxious and over my head. I had a relatively small budget to work with. Libby made me feel right away like my budget would be sufficient to have an event that would rival any, and that I wouldn’t have to compromise my vision for my son’s day.

Without any commitment that I would sign with her Libby made an appointment to come to my home on the other side of the city to meet with my family so she could get to know us and put together a tentative vision for our day. She arrived on time and within the hour had an outline for a theme, ideas for venues, décor, food etc. mapped out. She did not try to pressure us to go with her, she told us to look around if we liked. I signed up with her within 24 hours, I knew she was the right fit for our family.

With just over a month to the big day Libby hit the ground running. Libby saved not only my sanity but hours in research and phone calls. She organized meetings with the venue and vendors, took care of the contracts, negotiated competitive pricing and even got them to throw in little extras. I could see she had an excellent rapport with the vendors, which showed on the day of the event as the vendors, venue, décor, food, music, photography and videography were all superb and professional.

Throughout the process, Libby had to contend with changing COVID restrictions, and changing guest numbers as guests changed their minds between in person vs. virtual attendance. Libby remained in constant contact with me over the course of the month, I never had to guess what was going on or where she was in her timeline. Libby kept a close eye on the budget advising me what was good value verses something that would be nice to have, but not necessary, as it wouldn’t make or break the day.

On the day of the event, I didn’t have to think or worry about anything but enjoying myself. Libby and her contractors arrived early and transformed the venue into a masterpiece. We received so many compliments from our guests about what a wonderful job she did. Libby is Spectacular! Everything I could have wished and hoped for in a Wedding Planner. I must have interviewed the entire city before I found Libby and have never looked back. I expect Libby will be planning my events for many years to come and my kids' weddings as well, lol. She knows her business and does it extremely well. She was very attentive and knowledgeable and kept the wedding on budget and schedule making sure that every little detail was taken care of, from providing all of the incredible vendors she uses to pinning on boutonnieres.  
Libby listened to our needs, matched us with the right vendors so we got our dream wedding! Our wedding was truly beautiful, more so than I had even imagined it to be. The vendors, venue, food, music, photography and videography were out of this world. 

Most impressive was the short time frame we were working with, Libby came through in less than 1 month. Our friends and family are still talking about our wedding and how amazing it was. My husband and I were truly blessed to find Libby, she is reliable and caring and we are so grateful for her talents and experience, we really couldn’t have done it without her.

I can’t speak highly enough of Libby & Upon Occasion’s event planning. I had my wedding August 25th, 2019 and it truly could not have come together without her. She was there throughout every step of the planning process, from conception to execution. She recommended the best vendors, helped us get the necessary permits, and helped us negotiate the most competitive pricing! We had a complex wedding with a private & public ceremonies, same day edit, professional dance number, a gender revel, and a henna! Libby made sure the whole day went like clockwork - and that I was stress free! If I had to describe the experience we had with Libby, it would take me a week to write it all down. In short, it was flawless and the end result was spectacular!! If I could give her 10/5, I would. Libby was readily accessible, professional, hard-working, and extremely knowledgeable. Coordinating a wedding is an enormous undertaking. Corners cannot afford to be cut. With Libby and Upon Occasion, we could rest assured that all of the details, both large and small, would be attended to. Libby follows up with all vendors, ensures everyone arrives on time and in the correct location, verifies contracts, responds to emails with courtesy and timeliness, and offers excellent suggestions for making the day special! The four meetings we had with Libby were efficient and enlightened us regarding what arrangements were imperative to focus on. We could have easily booked her for more meetings, and less than four, in our opinion, would be doing yourself a great disservice. Finally, the day of our wedding went off without a hitch. Libby made certain to take care of every single thing and allowed us to be completely present with each other as well as our guests.
