We loved working with Nicole at sugar plum! She was very easily to vibe with! She was very organized and turned my vision into a reality. She went above and beyond what she needed to and we absolutely love her! She made getting married easy!

Nicole IS a superhero
Where do we even start... first of all if you're someone who thinks "we don't need a wedding planner... we can do this on our own" like we were.. Please at least do yourself the favour and meet with Nicole, because if you're having a wedding, you NEED Nicole on your team. We had originally booked our wedding in the summer of 2022 and then decided with 6 months notice to move it up a full year. We half expected that we'd be sacrificing on the wedding of our dreams because of the change but Nicole wasn't having any of that!! She was in constant communication with us over the entire time and ended up making use of ALL of our original deposits while securing us other amazing vendors with short notice to ensure we got exactly what we wanted! She also took care of all of the set up, take down, and making sure the day ran on time. Because of all her hard work doing this we got to focus on one thing.. ENJOYING OUR BIG DAY! She also made sure all of our vendors had their respective licenses... which sounds obvious... but we almost didn't have a legal wedding sooo good thing she checked on our officiant for us!! We have so many incredible examples of how Nicole went above and beyond for us, but I think the biggest testament to her character is the fact that when the wedding was done she didn't disappear but instead became a really great friend to us. Thank you Nicole for everything you've done for us. You're an amazing human being and we can't wait to see the rest of the things you'll accomplish!!

Triple Threat, Engagement Party, Bridal Shower and Wedding
Nicole was an amazing person to work with. She is able to take ideas from the client and make suggestions to make the event creative, beautiful and one of a kind! Nicole has great communication skills, she listens to the client and then ensures that she and the client are on the same page. Nicole is punctual and through, always ensuring her clients feel like they are number one to her. All 3 events that Nicole planned were beyond perfect and so unique and special. Nicole ensures that a budget is created and followed and is very cost conscious. Nicole is a very hard worker and never cuts any corners. She will always ensure her clients are well taken care of. We thank our lucky stars everyday that we were able to share our 3 Special Events with Nicole and she was able to make our visions and dreams an amazing experience and create beautiful life long memories ❤️

Indescribable, honestly. But I'll try.
Nicole is truly a once in a lifetime kind of person who you meet and your thinking shifts - whether that is just a change from viewing your wedding day through a lens of stress to one of pure excitement, or if you're like me, connecting with Nicole, throughout the pandemic and during wedding planning, re-energized my love for life, and showed me again the joy you can get out of everyday from the littlest things - like finding a beautiful new walking spot - to the biggest things - like your wedding day.
Our day could not have been more relaxing, romantic and perfect because of the support that we received from Nicole. Everything from fully planning and setting up the design, truly listening to our vision, helping bustle my very uncooperative dress, making sure that rehearsal and day of went without a bump (at least that I know of!), and literally every little moment in between, she was there 110%. We trusted her completely, and it was the greatest decision we could have ever made.
Plus! Who doesn't want someone there on your wedding day who will not only bring you and your new spouse drinks as you hide away from the crowd for a moment alone, but who is just such a fun and genuine person who brings a beautiful energy to your special day.
I guarantee I'm missing lots of details, but I've been typing for a while already so I'll wrap it up by saying that hiring Nicole will be the greatest decision you could ever make when it comes to planning ANY event, but especially your wedding day. I hope that you get to experience the joy that it is to work with and get to know such a wonderful, dedicated person.

I would recommend Nicole at Sugar Plum a thousand times over!! I cannot even begin to explain the journey we endured, having to postpone our wedding a year due to COVID. From the very beginning Nicole was professional, helpful, accommodating, and by the end it was clear she really is a miracle worker!!
She worked with us to reschedule (who knows how many times), and made sure that our event was exactly how we envisioned it! The day of coordination is a must - you should not be worrying about logistics on your special day! Nicole is very easy to work with, and will do everything she can to make sure your day is exactly as you dreamed it. I could not have been with happier with both her service, and the design/decor of the event! Thank you Nicole, we wouldn’t have wanted to have our trust in anyone else on our special day ♥️

The best investment for our wedding day!!!
Having Nicole for our wedding day and the months leading to it, was the single best decision we made for our wedding day! Nicole was able to take our idea of a tented wedding on our farm, and turn it into an absolute dream. Not only did she take away the stress and anxiety that occurs when planning a wedding, but she made it so enjoyable! To have someone who kept us on track with our budget and ahead of our timelines was an absolute necessity. She was genuinely as excited for our wedding as we were!
Book Nicole now! Before everyone else does because she is professional, brilliant at what she does and a salt of the earth human. You want this woman on your side!

Absolutely amazing!
A wedding should not happen without them involved. I cannot express how much ease and worry free our planning process and set up was because of this amazing human. They worked within our budget and didn’t exceed anything or do anything without our say so. Even when things from our venue seemed to hit a very rough patch, we were backed up and reassured in a way that brought us peace. Had we not had them backing us, we wouldn't have known where to start and been stressed about everything. My wife and I are absolutely more than satisfied and happy. We could not have done any of it without them being a HUGE part of it.
