Choosing Vinelli as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made for our big day, and there were countless reasons why she stood out to us. Firstly, having been guests at an extensive wedding she had planned, we knew she was capable of handling anything we threw her way. Plus, her status as a preferred vendor with UBC Boathouse made the decision even easier. Vinelli's understanding of cultural aspects, like the tea ceremony we wanted to include, was another big plus for us. But perhaps the most important reason we hired her was to ensure our friends and family could relax and enjoy the day without worrying about the details – and Vinelli delivered that. On the day of the wedding, she was cool, collected, and confident, handling all vendor logistics seamlessly. Despite any glitches that occurred behind the scenes, we didn't notice a single problem, thanks to Vinelli's expert management. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how smoothly everything ran, and we were able to be present and calm from start to finish, knowing Vinelli had everything under control. She took charge when necessary but never showed a moment of panic, putting us at ease throughout the entire process. We opted for the "Michelle" package, which included month-of planning, ongoing communication, check-in meetings, and 10 hours of service on the day of. We even received a discount referral and added 2 extra hours, bringing the total to 12 – a testament to Vinelli's flexibility and dedication to her clients. Though this package required us to book our own vendors, it worked perfectly for us given our available time. And with Vinelli's strong relationships with her sisters, who played a crucial role in coordinating decorations and ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day of, we felt like we had a dream team supporting us every step of the way. In short, Vinelli, thank you for allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every aspect of our wedding day. Your professionalism, reassurance, and impeccable planning made it a day we'll cherish forever.
In addition to serving as our wedding planner, Power of Threee, specifically Kim Rumbaua (sister of Vinelli) also provided floral and decor services, and we couldn't have been happier with the results. They made the entire process a breeze, from start to finish. Working with Kim was a delight – she was super easy to work with and incredibly accommodating to our budget and vision. We wanted something simple yet beautiful, and she delivered beyond our expectations. Even with our preference for simplicity, the venue looked absolutely stunning. We're not big flower enthusiasts, but we still wanted the space to feel decorated. Kim nailed it by using mostly silk flowers in bud vases on the tables. They looked incredibly photogenic, and no one even questioned whether they were real or not! We brought some of our own decorations, and Power of Threee provided the rest, seamlessly blending everything together to create a cohesive look that perfectly complemented the space.
One thing we particularly loved was how Kim repurposed the florals and decor from the ceremony to the reception, allowing us to stay well within our budget without sacrificing style. Their extensive inventory of decor items made planning and envisioning the space incredibly easy. Kim was an absolute joy. She was incredibly sweet, easy to chat with, and understood our vision from the get-go. In summary, working with Kim was a dream come true. Her professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail made our wedding day truly special, and we couldn't be more grateful. Thank you, Kim, for bringing our vision to life in the most beautiful way possible! -

I don’t even know where to begin.
The power of threee is worth every penny! I loved every single detail of my wedding, and I did not even have to stress about a single thing! They were always a step ahead of every single issue and made everything run smoothly. They are very easy to talk to, know what they are doing, and always kept my state of “well-being?” at the forefront of everything. I had no stress and didn’t even realize there was an issue because, again, they are always a step ahead!
I’m not the most detail oriented person, and during the sit-down they thought about the smallest details I didn’t even think to think about. Vinelli will think everything for you so you can enjoy your wedding with your family and loved ones.
Thank you Power of Threee, I am still so inlove with my wedding day. -

We really don't even know where to start. There's so many things that we want to mention and highlight that it's difficult to put it all into one review.
We had Vinelli as our partial planner for our wedding, but her title doesn't do justice to how far and beyond she went above her role. From the get-go, she got a read on the exact type of people we were and what vision we had for our big day. Every fun-filled monthly meeting we had got us one step closer to making our big day a reality; we got the important stuff covered, yet always had a blast and had more than a few laughs in the process. Whenever a curveball was thrown, she would set it right back on track, always ready and prepared with a practical solution.
Our wedding day was an absolute dream. We loved Vinelli so much that we actually asked her to MC for us as well, and somehow, being the superhuman that she is (with some very, very much appreciated assistance from her sister), she managed to do both that AND direct a seamless wedding. It wasn't just us as well; on multiple occasions, we saw and heard our guests approaching her and telling her that 'this is the best/funnest/most well planned wedding ever", and that, to us, meant everything.
Thank you so, SO much, Vinelli. We literally owe it all to you, and will eternally be recommending you as a wedding planner to anyone and everyone we know! -

Vinelli was an amazing planner and Day-of-Coordinator! My partner and I couldn't have asked for better! We really appreciated Vinelli's organization, suggestions, and connections with other vendors. Planning a wedding is such an overwhelming process, but Vinelli really helped break it down and make it more manageable. It was so helpful to have her experience.
I first met Vinelli when I was an emcee for another friend's wedding. From my short time working with her then, she was easy to work with, communicative, gave great direction, and was very detail oriented. When my partner and I were looking to plan our own wedding, Vinelli immediately came to mind and I am so glad for it.
As two queer people, my partner and I really appreciated being able to discuss with Vinelli about making our wedding space more inclusive (like gender neutral bathrooms or having pronouns on our name cards). Vinelli was very helpful in offering suggestions to make sure we both felt very comfortable and could just enjoy ourselves on our wedding day. 🥰 -

We were so happy to have hired powerofthreee for our wedding planning and decor needs! Vinelli is extremely knowledgeable in the wedding industry and has fantastic vendors that work with her. We chose the partial planning package and felt like this was the perfect amount of customization on our end, without having to worry about the small stuff, timeline, logistics etc. Our wedding day went so smoothly and even now, a few months later, we’re getting compliments about how organized and on time it was. She gave us a great guide to cover all aspects of the wedding which really helped ease our nerves as we had no idea what we were doing most of the time. We also wanted to give a shout out to her sister, Kim, who we hired for our decor package. The decor has the exact vibe I wanted: romantic and timeless. She took my very vague ideas of what I wanted and completely transformed our reception venue. Thank you so much Vinelli and Kim for helping us out! -

I cannot tell you how happy we were with choosing Vinelli as our Day of Coordinator. She is personable, professional, quick to respond to emails/inquiries and extremely knowledgeable in this field. We did not have a wedding party, so Vinelli went ABOVE and BEYOND (WAY beyond) her role as the DOC! From setting up our reception to tare down - she coordinated with our vendors and allowed us to have a stress free day. She made sure what we envisioned for our wedding day came true. She is an amazing person and even more so as a wedding planner/DOC, and I will 100% recommend her to anyone. They do it all - one stop shop: Planner, DOC and Décor rental!! -

TL;DR: With powerofthreee, you will actually enjoy your wedding day AND the entire planning process. I had an absolute blast, connected with amazing people, and saved some coins, what more can I ask?
I genuinely would not have survived wedding planning during the pandemic and medical school without Powerofthreee on board! Vinelli was our main point of contact, planner and coordinator and she was an absolute dream to work with. We had to postpone our wedding from 2021 to 2022 because of COVID and Vinelli took care of contacting all our vendors and ensuring that everyone was on board for the new date.
Leading up to our May 2022 wedding, my schedule was absolutely insane with multiple 24+ hours call shifts per week, which made wedding planning even more stressful, but Vinelli was so flexible, patient, and understanding throughout the entire process. Every time things got overwhelming and I felt like I was on the verge of a breakdown, all it took was a quick check in (or not so quick rant LOL) with Vinelli and I immediately felt reassured. She was always so calm, cool, collected, confident, and in control. That's the energy every bride needs!
The one thing I prioritized when selecting our vendors was honesty and I really appreciated that Vinelli gave it to us straight and never hesitated to offer advice when we asked! I also don't really know much about weddings and always had so many questions, so it was amazing to have a team who is so experienced and knowledgeable. It felt great to have the inside scoop on everything. They are connected to so many amazing vendors and we honestly got the best deals.
Kim was in charge of our decorations and florals and we were absolutely blown away! All I did was send over my Pinterest board and she made all my dreams come true.
During the day of the wedding, I was so blissfully unaware of all the chaos that were taking place in the background. It wasn't until the debrief meeting that I found out all the things that could have gone wrong, but didn't because of Vinelli and Kim! I didn't have a single worry about anything during the day of the wedding and I enjoyed every single second of it. Looking back, it was the most magical day that I want to relive again and again!
My number one advice to other brides out there would be to have a day of coordinator, and really consider having a kickass planner team, like powerofthreee. With them, I was 100% worry-free during the day, and the entire process. Not to mention, the good deals and connections are amazing perks.
Having Powerofthreee on board is honestly an absolute vibe and the best decision I made during the wedding planning process. It's been almost a month and I already miss their beautiful faces so much! Thank you Vinelli and Kim for all your dedication, time, patience, and help. It's an absolute blessing to know you both!
