Team of Pineapple Eventworks
My name is Tina and I am the founder of Pineapple Eventworks. Before devoting my life to Pineapple Eventworks, I worked at the Culinary Institute of Canada in Charlottetown, PE, for 10 years. My journey began as a dining room server and went on to teach Basic Bartending classes. Next, I prepared and trained hundreds of hospitality students for work in high-end, fine-dining service environments. In the last six years of my tenure, I was the Institute’s first Banquet and Catering Coordinator. It was during this work term that I realized the need for a skilled event staffing service in Atlantic Canada. When your job is being in charge of the facility for an event, you are essentially a Day of Coordinator. Not only did we coordinate countless weddings and events, we also coordinated two visits from the Royal family.
Prior to my tenure at the Insitute, I studied Hospitality and Business Management. I worked in a number of fine dining restaurants and have always been involved in caterered events.
I work best under pressure and problem solving is my jam. I can't wait to be a part of your big day!
