Owner + Creative Director
I’m Jessica but most people call me by my maiden name ‘Minnie’, so you can too. I’m a momma to the raddest little dude gordie, a wife, a pisces + the founder/creative director of PPE. I’m the opposite of shy but I most definitely prefer to be behind the scenes doing what I love most + working hard to make moments extremely special, stress-free + picture perfect for others. I started PPE in 2010 from my kitchen table + the trunk of a zipcar while working another full time job. By the age of 26, I was completely self employed. Fast forward to 2019 + I have an incredible team of 3 other full time planners/designers, 1 part time designer + the best wedding day assistants. The last 10 years have required extreme dedication + many sleepless nights, but each year is more rewarding than the last + I continuously get to meet some of the most inspiring individuals/couples who are still in my life to this day. I hope that you can be one of those couples as well.

Principal planner + Event designer (London, UK)
Hi, I’m Margot and I like long walks on the beach… no but seriously, even though I now live in London (UK, not Ont) I’m a Vancouver girl at heart. I can stare at the ocean for hours. it centres me and fires me up for adventure all at the same time! And when it comes to adventure, well, that’s sort of my jam. My favourite quote + guiding principle is “feel the fear and do it anyway”. following that mantra has led me into the most amazing experiences of my life… like sailing around the world on an old timey tall ship, quitting my 9-5 to follow my passion for wedding planning (more on that coming up) and most recently moving halfway around the world + setting up shop in a new city/country. Speaking of that work life (and let’s be real, personal too, because there isn’t really a difference for me), 2019 marks my 6th year with PPE where i’m a principal planner + event designer. It’s the best of both worlds; all of the nerdy OCD satisfaction of spreadsheets + colour-coded timelines together with the creative challenge of pulling together eclectic + highly personalized events for my amazing clients. Now that I’m settled in London, UK, I absolutely cannot wait to work with a whole new set of couples!

Hi! I'm Nicola. I'm an associate planner + designer with the PPE team. I joined the team in 2016 and now work full time with this amazing team. My favourite thing about what I do is hard to put into a few words, but I love that I get to help people create some of their most special memories. The magic of the fact that I am a small part in so many people's most precious memories is not lost on me. i love it!
Hi I'm Gordon! You may recognize me from the top half of photos posted of the Petite Pearl team. I've worked with Petite Pearl on and off since almost the beginning in 2010, whether through vendor relations or helping put things up high during setup, I've now been full time with PPE for the past few seasons. I've been planning events since my first events job at a golf course in Ontario back in 2007 and can't stay away from the crazy creativity that comes with event planning. I've always been passionate about logistics and making sure the events are well timed and perfectly executed. working with the ladies at PPE has been a highlight of my 12 years in this industry, not only because of our shared love for wine and sarcasm, but because they're all so extremely talented and up to date with all the design and decor elements. Working with them makes my days so much easier and enjoyable... which when you're in the height of wedding season is so important. They say you can't choose your family, but I feel like i did and this one is pretty great.
Event designer + Stylist
Hi everyone! My name is Brit and I am an event designer + stylist with PPE. I joined the talented team at the beginning of 2018. It has been a whirlwind + tremendously rewarding ever since. I am so thrilled to be a part of the PPE family. The long hours + the dozen checklists + sleepless nights; is absolutely worth it. When I look back on our weddings, the thing that stands out to me the most, is watching relationships between our team + our clients. The cheek to cheek smiles, the laughs, the hugs, the thank-yous, it proved to me why I want to be in this industry. How lucky are we to be trusted to be apart of a milestone chapter of people's lives? Standing back and watching all the firsts; first look, first time seeing their venue, first kiss, first dance, it's a magical thing! You will most likely find me tearing up in the corner at every wedding!
Hola everyone! My name is Melissa + I’ve been working with this amazeballs PPE team since 2014! I remember my first (and many) experiences as Jess + Margot’s day-of assistant being incredibly busy but a whackton of fun. although my full time gig is wrangling small children (aka a kindergarten teacher), spending my weekends + summers with the team is something I always look forward to. One of my favourite parts about showing up to set up is the buzzing energy everyone’s got to get shit done and make beautiful things come together! In my books, a Petite Pearl wedding is never complete without master chair straightening, pulling out our handy dandy BBQ lighters, and snackin on a boatload of treats to keep up the sugar high until the early morning!
