We initially started our wedding planning without a wedding planner but quickly realized that we needed help. There were just simply too many things to take into account and the stress of planning a fairly large wedding was quickly consuming what was meant to be a special and enjoyable experience.

From the first time we met with Olivia (Olivetree Events), we knew she was a great fit. We wanted to find someone who was positive, organized and professional. Someone who would make us feel at ease and who we could trust to have our best interests at heart. Olivia understood what we wanted on our wedding day and exceeded in meeting and delivering in all our expectations.

Olivia was able to take our initial ideas and enhance them with her own concepts; making our wedding more beautiful, more personal, and all that we both dreamed it could be. Olivia’s attention to detail and creativity was impeccable! It was a delight to see her remain calm and in control during the entire process. I encountered Olive Tree Events at a wedding fair. Olivia made a great first impression (friendly, attentive and outgoing) and I could see by the way she staged her booth that she had great taste. Having already done some research, immediately I knew that I wanted to work with Olivia. She was priced competitively, offered a great range of services and was passionate about her work.

Olivia took care of all of the details with the venue and other service providers – she demonstrated experience planning events and negotiating options, timing and price. We were impressed with the questions she asked (stuff I wouldn’t have ever thought of) and the suggestions she made (things that wouldn’t have offered up without being prompted).

Opting for a 5 PM ceremony my biggest fear was things running tardy – I didn’t want guests to be finishing supper at 11 PM instead of celebrating on the dancefloor. Going into the day of the wedding I felt confident that everything was on track. Olivia planned the schedule of events to a T, arranged for the pick-up/return of all rentals and décor, connected with all vendors and handled all of the decorating.

Olivia created a seamless worry-free evening and enabled us to focus on each other and our guests. I am happy to say that the wedding was beautiful and the timing/transitions were flawless. Many guests even commented on the smooth flow and relaxed vibe. Olivia made this look effortless but I know she was busy behind the scenes focusing on details, rounding people up and looking ahead to anticipate needs.

We cannot recommend Olive Tree Events highly enough. Olivia is an absolute gem to work with. There’s no doubt that it was her efforts and contributions that created a relaxed atmosphere and gave us the freedom to live in the moment and enjoy our wedding day.

Olivia is very thorough and has a good eye for design. She really genuinely cares about the end result and about making the final product high quality. I love that she gives her honest feedback and yet respects mine as well. Highly recommend working with- truly a pleasure!
