    Barbara and Kennedy Event Planning are wonderful!

    We hired Kennedy Event Planning roughly six months out from our wedding, having previously selected a venue, and not much else. During our first meeting, Shannon immediately put us at ease with her knowledge and enthusiasm for the field of wedding planning, and shortly thereafter we hired KEP for their “Essential Wedding Coordination” package.

    We were soon introduced to our planner Barbara through Shannon. Barbara was consistently well-organized and on top of things during the planning process, and always prompt, friendly, and helpful in our communications. Her knowledge, advice, and connections were invaluable in helping us hire and negotiate with the vendors we still needed.

    (As an aside, we also found that the planning software provided by Kennedy Events was extremely helpful in allowing us to easily keep track of our guest list, to-do’s, and budget.)

    During the week of the wedding, Barbara also really went above and beyond to make sure that our vision for the wedding was fulfilled, coordinating with the wedding party, and overseeing the entire setup at the venue (along with her assistant Sonya). Many guests commented on how smoothly the wedding went, and a lot of that success can be attributed to Barbara’s expertise. People told us that our wedding would go by in a blur, but Barbara’s hard work ensured that we were able to actually be present and enjoy our wedding to the fullest.

    We can’t thank Barbara, Sonya, Shannon, and KEP enough for all they’ve done for us these past six months, and we would strongly recommend them, without reservation.

    Shannon, Hilary, and Barbara were everything we could have hoped for as wedding planners. They went above and beyond any expectation we had. They genuinely cared about our wedding and did everything they could to make it a special day. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

    Best decision of our live

    Shannon helped us planned our wedding in less than 6 months and everything was perfect. She was always available and answered any questions. The day of, she checked up on us multiple times and everything ran smoothly with us just needed to enjoy our day!

    KEP - Natalina

    After having seen Shannon be my sister's day-of wedding coordinator two years ago, I knew that once my turn came along that I would seek out her expertise again. I was matched up with Natalina, and I am so happy with how everything went. Natalina's hands-on approach began about 6 weeks out from my wedding day, as was the type of package I had gotten, and she took care of all the nitty gritty that comes with wedding coordination. She understood my vision, my wants and needs, and I knew I could trust her to execute everything I had planned for my special day. When the day finally came, I got to enjoy it completely stress free and totally live in the moment. I'm forever grateful that I was lucky enough to have her there with me on my special day.     Best wedding planner!

    I planned my wedding from out of town with Shannon's assistance.

    I cannot recommend Shannon highly enough. Her input and insight were invaluable. She knew when and where her expertise/opinions would be helpful.

    I was pleasantly surprised that I actually enjoyed the days and hours leading up to my wedding (and obviously the wedding itself) and that is due, in large part, to Shannon. She was so highly organised and ensured that everything went according to plan. If there were any issues leading up to or at the wedding, my husband and I were blissfully ignorant of them.

    Shannon has an infectious and can-do attitude. She is sweet, funny and genuinely caring about her brides. She calmly and professionally appeased any wedding related anxiety I may have had leading up to the big day.

    Shannon (and Barbara) I cannot thank you enough for all of your help, from beginning to end. Robbie and I truly had a blast at our wedding. Should we have any party planning needs in the future, will be sure to consult with Shannon. We have already recommended her to all of our Ottawa friends and family who may have weddings in their futures. - Caitlin C.

    Shannon provided excellent service and was great to work with. Our wedding coordinators Sonya and Barbara were extremely professional and did a fantastic job. I don't think any wedding executes flawlessly (although thankfully I only got married once), but this team did everything possible to make our planning easy and enjoyable, and our wedding day memorable. We kindly thank them once again, and recommend them 100%.

    We hired Shannon to help plan our wedding and we couldn't have asked for more. Shannon is so warm, energetic, and passionate about her work. Our wedding day went off as a huge success and Shannon & her team took care of everything! She kept me on track with details and left me with zero worries on the day of. As someone who doesn't live in Ottawa, she made getting married there a breeze with excellent hair, makeup, cake, etc, recommendations. We would say she went above and beyond and we are so lucky to have worked with her. We highly recommend Kennedy Events for any event!

    We hired Shannon to work with us in the few weeks leading up to our wedding, as well as the day of the wedding. Some of the best money we spent on our wedding! Shannon is fun, enthusiastic, and passionate about her work. As far as we are concerned, our day went off without a hitch. I'm sure there were problems, but we didn't know about any of them! Shannon and her assistant, Sonia, took care of everything!

    Leading up to the wedding, Shannon put together a schedule for the weekend, which she sent out to our vendors, bridal party, and immediate family. She attended the rehearsal with us, and kept things on track. She answered all my questions, calmed all my nerves, and was a huge reason that I was such a calm bride on my wedding day. I knew she had everything handled.

    Everyone in the bridal party and our immediate family loved her and kept commenting on how fantastic she was! And because she works in the event industry, she knew just about all our vendors and was very familiar with our venue, which was a huge plus! We could not have done it without Shannon and Sonia. They took our kind of crappy DIY's and limited vision and turned it into the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to. They also allowed our friends and family to enjoy our day rather than have to "work" it. I cannot thank them enough and would highly recommend Kennedy Events for ANY planning and coordinating needs!
