  Kari and her whole team (Kelly, Rob and Kendra (to name a few), went above and beyond and made our wedding day the easiest and absolute best day of our lives. They are so incredibly organized and made sure the day went perfectly smoothly and was stress free! Kari is a dream to work with and takes all the wedding stress away with her positive attitude and support. From the beginning she felt like a close friend who wanted us to have the best day of our lives and would do anything to make sure that happened. She certainly did. We could not have done it without them and are so glad they were apart of our day!

  Kari and her team were so absolutely wonderful to work with and we couldn't recommend her more! Kari worked tirelessly with us to help us understand out what kind of style, look, and decor would suit us best, and was readily available to answer any silly questions we may have had :). Her attention to detail and professionalism are unmatched. In the final month and on the day of our wedding, she and her team coordinated all vendors, timelines, table maps, day-of details, and troubleshooting of any issues that came up unexpectedly. She lifted so much stress off of our plates and allowed us time to focus on being present and enjoying the whole process. But above everything, Kari is just such a lovely person to work and communicate with.
  Her and her team gave us a day that was more than we could have ever expected and imagined. We will always be grateful to Kari, and she will always be a part of our beautiful wedding memories.

  If you are considering booking Kari and her team for your event, then BOOK NOW! We hired Kari as our month of planner and she was much more than that. She really helped us navigate the stress of planning a wedding a pandemic and was an asset when we ultimately had to postpone. The month leading up to our wedding day, Kari kept us really organized and was always available to answer our questions. On our wedding day, Kelly was amazing and made sure everything went smoothly. We can't recommend Kari and her team enough!

  We will always be grateful

  Kari is professional, resourceful, well connected with strong and long-standing relationships with vendors and venues, and perhaps most importantly does a great job keeping you calm during the stressful wedding moments. We hired Kari in the very beginning of our planning in early 2020 to be our “day of planner” for our wedding that was scheduled to take place later that year in July. And even though we had only hired her to be our day-of coordinator, she was always willing to help when we had questions, was frequently checking in with us to see if there was anything she could help with, and consistently responded in a timely manner to emails and texts. When COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions forced us to postpone and ultimately cancel our wedding, Kari was there to help. She helped us stay calm, shared updates about the status of COVID in Toronto (since we live in the US) and was always there to offer moral support. Over the course of our time working with Kari, it became clear that she is a highly plugged-in professional with a strong network of relationships with vendors and venues. We will always be grateful to Kari for her support and advice, and would highly recommend her to others.

  Kari planned us the most beautiful wedding!

  We decided to get married in August, 2020. We hired Kari Lywood to help us create the wedding of our dreams. She came to us highly recommended by many of our friends, and we couldn't be happier to have chosen her to plan our backyard wedding! From the first day we chatted, she made us feel so well taken care of. Her extensive experience in event planning, wealth of knowledge, her industry contacts, and endless ideas came together to make planning our wedding an enjoyable experience.   Kari is the best wedding planner in the universe. Working with her was a dream. She is the most organized, caring and calm person, even in the most stressful and challenging of situations. She has fantastic ideas and tips to make the day super special.

  Our day would not have been possible without Kari

  Hiring Kari as our wedding coordinator was, hands down, the best decision we made.
  
  We were one of many weddings impacted by the pandemic, and we held our wedding after FOUR date changes, AND a venue change ONE week before our expected date. Even with a last minute change with 1 week to go, Kari was calm, confident, experienced and knowledgeable -- something very hard to come by when we are in a time where information and things are so uncertain.
  Kari made sure we knew she was available to us throughout the entire planning even though we only hired her on as a day of coordinator. When we had issues with one of our vendors, she instantly provided us with her recommendation (whom we decided to go with and could not have been happier). When the pandemic impacted us, Kari kept up to date with all the required regulations, and had such creative ideas on how we could still have our wedding and remain compliant and safe.
  
  The day of the wedding was beautiful. We have had SO many positive feedbacks from our family and friends of how organized it was, and how smooth it flowed, how warm and fun it was despite the smaller size, and most importantly -- how safe it went (high praise when it comes from Chinese family and family friends so used to big celebrations). Kari handled everything that day so that my husband and I could properly and fully enjoy our special day and remember it the way we want to.
  
  Thank you Kari for the unbelievable experience, and for giving us the confidence that we could still get married, and have a good time! I would 1000000% immediately recommend Kari and her team for any event planning.

  The very best coordinators

  Working with Kari and her team was an absolute dream - like having a fairy godmother / staff of magical day makers. Kari is not only an absolute pleasure to be around, but, from start to finish she took control of all the cumbersome coordination and planning to ensure that our special day went off without a hitch and that we could actually enjoy it!
  
  Kari made us feel completely at ease, knowing we were in her extremely capable hands. She not only ensured everything we wanted (and much more) was included in our big day , but also that the many small items we overlooked were not forgotten. I could not imagine working with anyone else, we feel so lucky to have found her!
  
  Lucy and Robert, Kari's coordinators, who attended our wedding day, went so far above and beyond to make sure every little thing we wanted or needed, was readily available and honestly could not have been any more helpful or wonderful. From fixing a broken zipper, setting up cupcake displays, to sneaking the bride to a bathroom before the ceremony and even packing up all our extra items (shoes, veil, ties etc.) in bags for us at the end of the night, they not only made sure the night went off exactly as we dreamed, but were also such a pleasure to be around and have by our sides. The entire family loved them, and raved about them and the professionalism they displayed.
