Absolutely worth it!

Nargess was super friendly, efficient and professional. We booked our wedding venue at Brock House and decided to go with a venue recommended planner - so glad we went with her! We shared our vision of the wedding and she made it came true. My husband and I loved everything about our wedding and enjoyed the wedding day. without worrying about anything. Thank you Nargess!

Reception Coordination

I don't think I could have done my reception without Nargess! Her and her team made things so seamless for us that we were able to enjoy our event without having to worry about any hiccups that may have arisen.
From the moment we first sat down with Nargess almost 3 years ago, we knew we were in good hands! Her attention to detail, grateful suggestions, and humble personality were the things that got us very excited when we first started planning. She was about to provide ideas, coordinate with other vendors, and was there sorting out the last-minute things I had forgotten, whether it was in the early hours of the morning, or late hours of the evening and I only just realized a week before that I needed name cards and a seating chart.
It is not easy planning an Indian reception, and it's even harder to plan one when we are not having the party at the traditional Indian venue, with Indian catering, entertainment etc, as you can imagine, there were some very opinionated suggestions and requirements from Family. Nargess ensured that we were not stressed by this, and alleviated any issues that may have arisen, and allowed our vision to come to light, and not to mention, all of this was done during COVID, so it was a LOT for her to take care. My family absolutely loved her! She had everything running smoothly and on time! I'm actually sad I did not get to see more of her on my wedding day, but that's how great she was :) Hiring Nargess and the Fleur De Lis Events team was the best decision we could have made, the moment we met her, my husband said "hire her. we can't do our day without them!" and i'm so glad we did.

Excellent Wedding Planner-Assertive

Narges and her team were really amazing. They were helpful every step of the way and helped us with everything related to our wedding. We couldn't be any happier with Narges. She was always on time, and made sure to attend to every need we had. Her taste in décor and details also helped us make decisions more easily. Most importantly was that she was there ALL DAY for the wedding day and throughout the reception which was amazingly helpful to us. In Persian weddings, things tend to always run longer and order seems to go out the door, but with Narges there to run the show, everything went extremely well and exactly according to plan. Here assertiveness was very impressive and much needed that day. Even when a couple of minor hiccups happened, she took them in stride and resolved the issues successfully.

The BEST in the industry - highly recommend!

I cannot stress enough how glad we are to have chosen Nargess and the Fleur De Lis Events team to plan the most important day of our lives. Having extremely busy schedules in and outside of work, it was important for us to find a wedding planner with a solid team who could take the stress off our shoulders but still deliver our vision in less than ten months.

Not only did Nargess and her team make our dream wedding a reality, they truly are THE BEST in the industry. Nargess responds very quickly, she’s a great problem solver, she’s extremely organized and her suggestions and guidance helped tremendously throughout the planning process up to the wedding day.

Nargess understood our budget very well - she worked within it and still managed to get us the best deals from the best vendors in the industry. Her expertise helped us strategically spend to make our wedding beautiful without compromising our vision. She also ensured all the vendors met her very high standards.

She was consistently mindful of both of our opinions and ensured my husband was included throughout the entire process which was much appreciated. Not to mention she’s super fun to work with! She has excellent taste, is always positive and is passionate in what she does. Her team is a reflection of all of these great traits as well. Highly recommend Nargess and Fleur De Lis Events!

Fleur de Lis Events is amazing!

I originally found Nargess on Instagram after quickly realizing that we would be needing some help planning our Vancouver wedding from our new home in LA. I spoke with several wedding planners but felt right away that Nargess was the perfect fit for us. It was really important to us that we had a planner that we trusted and understood our style in order to guide us with sourcing and helping us choose the right vendors. Looking back at the wedding planning process, it's crazy to me that I only met Nargess twice in person prior to the wedding & my fiance actually met her the day of the wedding! We were able to manage most of the wedding planning via phone, email, facetime, etc ...she even live snap chatted me during a dessert tasting! Nargess is very detail oriented, stylish, always considered our budget, and has a great relationship with local vendors.

On the day of the wedding, we were able to let go and enjoy ourselves without a single worry and we're so grateful for that. It was magical to see all of the beautiful details come together and if anything went wrong - we definitely did not know about it! We truly had the best day of our lives and are so thankful that we had Nargess' amazing team to make everything possible!

Partial Planning, Sofreh, Day of Coordination

Nargess went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. Without hesitation, she helped us with anything we needed and took initiative to make the entire process easier for us. Her design and taste is something not everyone has and it makes her weddings/events extra special. She has the perfect personality for getting things done and getting things done the right way.

Founded in 2011 what started out as a passion project quickly flourished into a Full Service Planning & Design company recognized for impecable events.

Nargess’ genuine love of décor and design, artistic vision and dedication are the very essence of her work. Inspired by her surroundings and her clients, she’s a believer that love is truly in the details, and those details create the best memories.

Married to her best friend and proud mom of two young boys, she loves nothing more than traveling the world, and planning unforgettable events.

Samantha is a North Shore resident and has been part of the Fleur de Lis Events Panning + Design team since 2018. She is passionate about all events, especially weddings. Samantha loves seeing the happiness, joy, and elation that is exuded by bridal parties and guests, when each event comes into full fruition. It is a truly magical experience.

One of her favourite things about working at weddings is knowing that she is helping create beautiful memories that people will cherish forever. Even the smallest of details (such as helping a guest to their seat) matter. Outside of working with Fleur de Lis Events Planning + Design, Samantha is a Kinesiology student at CapU, she loves crafting (especially card making), and enjoys the outdoors throughout every season.
