Maureen was amazing! I was so glad to have her by our sides on our wedding day. She is super helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone planning a special event. Having a piece of mind for your event is priceless! Thank you so much Maureen!

Maureen helped do take down for our wedding with A LOT of personal decor, much of it very fragile. Her price was very reasonable, and she delivered everything to us the next day, with not a single thing broken. I was absolutely amazed at the care she took to make sure everything was delivered in good condition, and she had to have it all taken down within a very small time frame. I would absolutely recommend her services!

I don't even know what I would've done without Maureen...She is...without a doubt...so great at what she does it's unreal...everyone was so impressed with her...WE are extra grateful for everything she did.
If anyone needs a planner...she is the go -to person....She was our Day of Co-ordinator but it was so much more than that...she really went above and beyond to make our day stress free. Everything ran smoothly...kept everything on time...too many things to list because she did everything!!!

Maureen was essentially amazing on our wedding day and in all the planning leading up to it. When we met with her she brought to our attention elements I hadn't even thought of and really helped to make sure we hadn't missed any part of the planning. Maureen helped us find vendors, décor and gave us advice on how to budget. Our ceremony and rehearsal went so smoothly with Maureen's help. We really couldn't have made our day so special without her. Maureen is exceptionally professional, proficient and reliable. I would highly recommend Maureen's services. She is awesome!

Maureen at Emerald Events can officially add "Coordinated wedding during the storm of the century" to her CV. But let me back up a bit: As we got closer to saying our I Dos, we had a lot figured out already, but I was beginning to realize that the project manager in me could be freaking out about every little detail on The Big Day. We engaged Emerald Events for the "Day of" coordination package, which is really the month leading up to your wedding. We were referred by a friend, and could not have found a better person to be this critical part of our wedding. We found ourselves so aligned with her philosophy and personality: she is organized, confident, responsive and creative, but also relaxed and calm, and really gets you to focus in on what is important to YOU. She asked us about things we hadn't even thought about, confirmed details with all of our vendors, and walked that fine balance between honouring what we wanted for the day and making best-practice recommendations based on her extensive knowledge.
After she ran our wedding rehearsal I joked that she had already been worth every penny - she kept everything smooth and on-track so we could just enjoy the moment. Little did I know... that we would get married on the day (August 29, 2015) of the storm that left 600,000 of us in the Lower Mainland without power - including our VENUE. If I thought Maureen was worth every penny before, I soon realized that she was actually worth her weight in gold. I'm sure you brides can relate when I say it was not my dream to find out that it was raining AND there was no power on my wedding day. But get this: by the time she called to let us know there was no power, she had already figured out the Plan B. And despite everything, through her efforts (and our other amazing vendors) we had a beautiful, classy wedding full of love, laughter and romance.
I am literally running out of room to sing the praises of Emerald Events. In sum: Book Emerald Events. They rock!

Maureen Brown From Emerald Events did an amazing job helping my fiancé and myself planning our wedding from beginning to end.
Maureen was very friendly, resourceful and had a solution for every little problem. Our wedding went amazingly well thanks to her.

Our wedding was absolute perfection because of Emerald Events!!! There are just no words to describe how wonderful Maureen and her assistant Ana are. Definitely one of the best decisions we ever made when it came to planning our wedding was hiring Maureen. She knows her stuff and was always just an email, phone call or text away to answer any and every question we had. Our wedding day was a day of absolutely no stress at any point because of these two wonderful ladies. Maureen kept me grounded, and as a bride who had the need to be in control of everything, that was no small task. I honestly don't know that there could possibly be any better co-ordinator out there. I highly and 100% recommend her.

Maureen was an integral part of our event. Even before we had committed to signing with her she had already started helping us. She gave us ideas, inspiration, support, and expertise. When we had a crisis she was there to solve the problem. And we had many problems! She even went out of her way to help us when she was on vacation. I cannot say enough nice things about Maureen and Emerald Events!
