Nicole is the founder of Down the Aisle, which began in 2007. She started her wedding coordinating career with family and friends after searching for her own day-of coordinator. Today, she works with a team of ladies - Priscilla, Sarah, Meme, and Junie - to pull off magnificent weddings. Nicole understands how overwhelming it can be to perfect wedding details to Pinterest perfection. This is where Nicole and her team steps in, ready to assist you in all your wedding needs.

Experience

Nicole has planned multiple weddings now. Her personality and career experience lends itself perfectly to wedding coordinating. She has a background in finance and hospitality management and is naturally a very organized person. Additionally, she considers herself a Type A personality. If you are also a Type A person, then she understands how perfectly you want your ideas executed. Her hospitality experience proves her ability to work under pressure, which makes her perfect for the job. In addition, her team of ladies are handpicked by Nicole to make sure your wedding runs smoothly.

Nicole offers her services for multiple wedding types, such as civil, cultural, destination, double weddings, eco-friendly, military, non-religious, and religious weddings. She also offers a full day-of coordination, partial day-of coordination, and a simply set-up option. Her services can be used for the ceremony and reception. How they work

For a full day-of coordination, your wedding planner will meet with you a month before the wedding, confirming what you want, then further confirming with your vendors. About one or two weeks before the wedding, your wedding planner will create a detailed timeline for your wedding day and go over all the big and little details. Usually, it takes a couple of hours to go over everything. Once we are as familiar as you are about your big day, it makes the wedding day run seamlessly. On the day of, your coordinator (and possibly an assistant) will make sure everyone is where they're supposed to be, when they're supposed to be, and help out if there are any hiccups. The coordinator(s) can even help clean-up, if needed. Lastly, a Bridal Emergency Kit is brought; it never hurts to be prepared. Partial day-of coordination is just like the full day-of coordination, except that services end after the busiest part of the day: the ceremony. Simply set-up is mainly décor setup for your big day.

    Junie Wu was our day-of coordinator and we could not have been happier with her services! She was available to meet with me multiple times before the wedding and at these meetings she thought of every detail - even ones I had not thought of! It was extremely helpful to have her present at our rehearsal, as the officiant was unable to make it. Junie took over the rehearsal and made everyone feel relaxed. On the wedding day, she was on top of everything, easy to find, and smiling the entire day. I honestly think that Junie's services were the best thing I decided to spend money on for the wedding; I don't know what I would have done without her!

    Sarah was absolutely wonderful to deal with. We hired here for day-of coordination, and I'm so glad we did. We had so much going on at our family farm that day, I knew I could count on Sarah to ensure a smooth transition of our vendors on and off the property. All of our guests, and especially our close family members, had nothing but great things to say about Sarah and we're so glad to have found such an amazing person to be a part of our day.

    Sarah was very organized, detail-oriented, and thoughtful - everything the perfect wedding coordinator should be. We ran into a couple of little hiccups, but Sarah approached them with calm, helpful, and inventive solutions. Hiring her was a great decision!

    Sarah at Down the Aisle was such an amazing help on our wedding day. We hired her for 1/2 day coordination to set up our event and stay through the beginning of dinner. She truly went above and beyond. The week leading up to the wedding was a dream because of Sarah! She responded to questions from my vendors before I even read the original email and took care of everything! She picked up all our decor, set the tablescapes just how I envisioned and so much more. There is nothing more I could have asked for in a coordinator.

    Thank you so much to Sarah for making our wedding day so memorable, everyone commented on how seamless the day was, and Sarah was definitely a major part of that. Our decor was perfect, vendors were confirmed and aware of what was expected, as well, when I needed some last minute things done, she was right there.     Sarah was prompt in her responses to all my crazy requests, so darn sweet and polite all the time, organized, efficient and just overall a wedding lifesaver.     My husband and I were so fortunate to have Sarah Hissink from Down the Aisle as our wedding coordinator. From the moment we first started discussing our big day, to our first dance at the end of our wedding night Sarah was an amazing support and help. In the month leading up to the wedding she managed coordination with our vendors, timelines for the day, communication with our venue and was supportive in any bride-related stressors that came up. There was no request I had leading up to the wedding that Sarah turned down or did not put 100% into - it's amazing how much work that takes off the bride-to-be's plate! On the day of our wedding I did not have to worry about anything - Sarah took care of all the details so that I could just relax and enjoy my day. We had multiple other vendors from our wedding day comment on how professional and organized Sarah was; everybody loved working with her. Sarah helped to make our wedding day the amazing, stress-free experience that we hoped it would be and I would highly recommend her to anyone else considering a wedding coordinator for their big day.

    I can't say enough good things about down the aisle coordination. From the moment I met with them months before the wedding to the day of the big event, I felt at ease and relaxed as I knew all was in good hands. The team at Down the aisle is laid back yet very detail oriented and effectively make everything come together seamlessly so you don't have to worry about a thing.

    I had Sarah Clark provide me with day-of-coordination services for my wedding day at Brix & Mortar restaurant. She was amazing from the beginning to the end of the entire wedding planning process providing great advice and useful tips and even checking in with me from time to time to ask if she can be of assistance prior to the one-month before the wedding mark. As we approached closer to the wedding day, we created a detailed timeline and she followed up with all the vendors I had booked to confirm all the specifics/details which was a huge help because you start getting bombarded with e-mails from everyone in the weeks leading up to the wedding all at once. My special day was flawless thanks to her. She took a huge weight off my shoulders that day and allowed me to really enjoy myself. She is very professional, reliable, and incredibly sweet on top of it all. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
