You’re here because hopefully, you’re considering letting me into and trusting me with one of the most personal, special and memorable times of your life. From newly engaged through the planning and to the smooth execution of your big day. So it’s only reasonable that you’d want to know a bit about me in return.

​After almost ten years in project management and events planning for corporate clients, I recently created my own business to help people design and plan meaningful, personal events. This decision has allowed me to have the creative freedom I love (I have a degree in design, which I’ve been dying to utilize!) and the fulfilment that comes from organizing and smoothly executing such a momentous occasion in people’s lives.

My prior experience includes leading a team in the corporate world, organizing them in much the same way I do vendors, ensuring everyone knows what’s expected of them, when and where they need to be, and holding them to very high standards to ensure an impeccable result. I managed logistics, scheduling and budgets for clients to keep projects flowing smoothly from briefing to closure. Planning out exceptionally busy days and ensuring the venue, catering, transport, accommodation, tech, humans (the list goes on!) are all in place for the most successful event possible.

This love of organization and attention to detail combined with my adoration for design has led me to event planning and design, which just speaks to my soul as the absolute right fit. Having my daughter, Isla, spurred on my decision as I realized the importance of really caring about what I do. "Day Sixteen" is a nod to her birthdate, Isla had to be a fighter from that first day, something I have gained infinite inspiration from. I want to show her that she can achieve whatever she wants with the right amount of dedication and effort.

What I want, is to plan your weddings and events so that they are beautiful, seamless and speak to YOU. They tell your story and are as unique as you are.
