Started off well with the initial call, however, was all downhill from there! From the contract being filled with errors to lack of response to messages, Ishita failed to meet any of our expectations. She repeatedly committed to providing information by a certain date and lacked in follow through every single time! She admitted to being overworked and putting her 2022 weddings on hold. However, until pushing for a response this was not brought to our attention. While she did refund us half of our deposit *which was also provided 5 days later than she said it would be), this was unacceptable as she failed to provide any services that added value to our wedding. Suggest you look elsewhere if you expect to have timely and accurate responses. If it were possible to give zero stars, we would have. Go elsewhere!

Ishita booked a musician for a wedding, didn't pay, placed the blame on the bride and groom (musician has no contact with the couple), and then ghosted them.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS PERSON AS A VENDOR/ENTERTAINER - THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER.

Additonally they are extremely disorganized and catastrophic to work with, and their Facebook reviews seem to be bought/scam revirews. Be warned!

I wish I took the previous review more seriously. Ishita started off great and seemed promising, only to stop communicating with us 2 months before our wedding with many items still left incomplete (didn’t even have a florist or decor booked). We gave her the benefit of the doubt numerous times only to be left hanging dry by her. Our email/text chain is us constantly following up with her, asking for updates and being left in the dark, which left us doing most of the work. She bailed on our venue visits, catering tastings and always had a reason for not showing up. In the 10 months we worked with her, we met her once for 1 hour. The lack of communication and ability to complete the tasks she promised she would do left us no choice but to let her go. She happily kept our deposit without a mere apology for anything. Trust me, find someone else.

I can’t even begin to explain how much of a pleasure it was to have Ishita as my wedding planner. She was friendly, accommodating, reliable, and has a great sense of style when it comes to wedding decor. She has a lot of connections within the industry and managed to put together a DREAM TEAM! My wedding was beautiful it looked like it was straight out of a fairytale. I basically trusted her to take the lead regarding the design and planning, she truly did an amazing job. I recommend Ishita to anyone who wants to create a beautiful wedding! Thank you so much for making our dream wedding come true!

To all prospective clients diligently analyzing reviews in hopes of finding the perfect service team for your wedding day, it is my great misfortune that our experience with A Stylish Events was that of a negative one. First off, we are clients who flew our wedding party to Vancouver from Los Angeles, so Ishita and her assistant (Amber Rudek) may have struggled with us because we were a destination party. Nonetheless, her service as "wedding day coordinator" dba "A Stylish Events" collapsed on the day of our ceremony. It began with Ishita (primary coordinator) going awol and being nowhere to be found hours before our ceremony. We received a call mid-afternoon, with her saying that "everything will be taken care of by her assistant" and that "she'll try to her best to make it to our ceremony". She skipped out on our wedding ceremony and deferred all responsibilities to her assistant -- who I will praise (Amber Rudek) for holding down the weight of our entire ceremony & reception. Even though there were several hiccups throughout the night, we believe she did the best she could given the overbearing burden of manning the whole production solo. I'm not going to rant and compile every detail of what went wrong, but in a nutshell, Ishita agreed to refund a percentage of our fee, and it's now one year after our wedding ceremony and there still is no refund anywhere to be found.

We're no longer expecting to receive our refund but now, we're just disappointed in ourselves for trusting her during our pre-wedding meetings and even deciding on her services over several other options. Her level of professionalism, attitude, and management of this whole situation was utterly disappointing. She had no passion for the work she did for us, we felt no joy or excitement from her in helping us celebrate our one and only big day, and left us feeling like we were cheating her by asking for a portion of the payment to be refunded. We paid for Ishita to coordinate our wedding celebration and not her assistant. It is what it is and my wife and I have moved on.

Ishita was absolutely amazing from the day we hired her all the way till the end! She makes you feel like you are planning a wedding with one of your best girlfriends :) We are probably one of the most indecisive couples with way too many ideas but ishita dealt with us with so much patience, understanding and laughter. Any concerns or stress we had she always had a solution on the spot and seriously saved our butts so many times I can't even count. She goes above and beyond to make sure your day goes smoothly and stress free and kept me really calm through the whole process. We would recommend booking ishita in a heartbeat! She was professional yet so much fun and we miss working with her so much that we can't wait to see her again when she coordinates our friend's weddings!

ISHITA jumped in two weeks before our wedding. We were stressed and had made the difficult decision to part ways with our original wedding coordinator. With some advice on sorting out what we needed and understanding what previously went wrong, We were guided to this serious but fun loving professional.
ISHITA was amazing! She even drove our family friend (who got lost and showed up to the venue) to photos just in time. My wife and I were able to enjoy our wedding day and were comforted by the fact that ISHITA had the days details totally taken care of . Not just the logistics but ideas and suggestions for things we would cherish. 5 stars are not enough. Highly recommend.

Very organized and take care. Often sought clarification regarding what we needed and what we wanted. A constant professional and worked well with various vendors. Instrumental in the setup of the location.
