  Spencer Wynn Photographer

  We are extremely happy with our decision to hire Spencer to be our photographer. We were initially interested in his journalistic / documentary style based on the portfolio we had seen; but the quality of his work surpassed our expectations. Spencer was timely, professional and somehow managed to be everywhere and document our day with a level of discretion that meant we hardly ever noticed him doing his work. Spencer was extremely flexible as well - agreeing to stay on for a couple extra hours to capture the night and party!
  
  In advance of the day, he met with us and stayed in correspondence to help work through the details and even scouted out the church and venue in advance. His style is exactly what we hoped and the pictures he selected captured the intimate moments between us and / or our guests and also captured numerous other moments perfectly.

  If you are looking for the perfect photographer for your wedding then you have to book Spencer. From the very beginning Spencer provided excellent service and value. A skilled photographer and a joy to work with, Spencer delivered excellent quality photos for both our engagement shots and wedding photos. His attitude and professionalism was remarked on my all of my guests who were very impressed with his work.
  
  His style is one of a documentary photographer - so if you want a lot of posed shots he might not be your guy. But if you want a series of photos that tells the story of your wedding and captures those special moments, then go with Wynn Photo.

  My husband and I hired Spencer as our wedding photographer, and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. His documentary style was perfect for our taste, and left the guests (and us) feeling completely at ease. His eye for artistic and unexpected shots made for photographs that captured memories to last a lifetime. A personable guy with a natural flair for capturing human emotions - BRAVO indeed! We would hire him again without thought!

  My husband and I hired Spencer as our wedding photographer, and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. Leading up to the wedding, he calmly focused our attention on the things that mattered and eventually made our day run smoothly and with less stress since we never had to worry if things were being captured – they were! Everywhere we looked, Spencer was there in the background quietly documenting our day.
  
  
  Our wedding was up in Muskoka and Spencer, though taking almost 5 hours to drive up, was happy to be here and made us feel like we were the most important people in his world!
  
  
  His wide experience as a visual journalist was a HUGE bonus. His news and story-telling background meant that he approached our day like it was a news feature and built the day as a narrative which flows beautifully through his images.

  It was a cold and snowy day when Spencer Wynn of Wynn Photo arrived at the Muskoka barn where we wanted our engagement photos taken. The farmer's tractor was used to move all the gear through the snow! We are having a country themed wedding next year in Muskoka and this theme was what Wynn photo delivered! The old barn was propped with beautiful string lighting and he even brought his smoke machine to add atmosphere to the location and his lighting. After the barn location Spencer did some more shooting in a snowy field with the barn in the distance - a nice touch and unexpected! Spencer's experience as an art director shows in his creative thinking and original ideas. We are very very happy with our photos and look forward to having him photograph our wedding. I would recommend him to anyone.

  It was an absolute pleasure to work with Spencer Wynn of Documentary Weddings! Prior to our wedding festivities, Spencer met with us to determine our style and vision for the wedding. Further, while photographing the pre-wedding festivities, Spencer took the time to get to know the guests and our unique family dynamic. This, coupled with his documentary style, resulted in our photos being deeply personal, and capturing emotions and moments that have particular meaning to us as a family. Spencer's decades of experience and his passion for photography is so evident in both his approach, and in his photographs. He is professional, personable, and incredibly talented.
