WJ is a professional wedding photographer with a passion for fine-art wedding photography. He founded his wedding photography business in 2007 and has been a wedding photographer for several years. WJPHOTO specializes in contemporary, photojournalism, and traditional styles of photography. WJ has two offices: one in his home and one within the Art Crawl in Hamilton, Ontario. He aims to be an industry leader in developing professional photography packages at a competitive rate and producing images with a fresh, creative edge for his clients. He is also ready to travel for destination weddings.

Experience

WJ was born and brought up in Grimsby, Ontario, and has felt a passion for photography since he was 10 years old. He has a diploma in broadcasting television and video production from Canadore College and a photography diploma from The Photography Institute. His work has been featured in magazines and journals throughout North America. He was hired as an assistant photographer and cinematographer for Northshore Stories out of Michigan, Ohio, during his last year in college. WJ was contracted by Northern Ontario Tourism to capture the “essence of Northern Ontario," including everything from wildlife to landscapes in the deep forested parts of Kenora, Thunderbay, Kapuskasing, Sault Ste. Marie, and more. He also has experience in photographing underwater and from aircrafts.

Other services

The company offers an eco-friendly and affordable photo booth that can be used for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, conferences, and more. Photo booth images are not printed, but delivered as digital files with an online album that is emailed to all your family and friends. WJ’s younger brother, Kyle, is one of the main technicians who usually manages the booth at weddings. Photo booth packages include the following:
