  Couldn’t be happier

  We absolutely loved working with Gee and Ieva! They are extremely skilled photographers and really lovely people. We are very happy with our couple and family portraits but where they really stood out is trough their candid photos! Their ability to capture special moments and facial expressions was unique among photographers I’ve seen. If you’re looking for photographers who will capture the vibe and emotion in your wedding, Gee and Ieva are the way to go.

  We used Blue Colibri for our Distillery district wedding photography this August, as well as a prior ‘People in Love’ shoot. I can’t tell you how incredibly happy we were with all the photos from both sessions! Gee & Ieva totally lived up to their description/reviews of delivering stunning and authentic photography that really tells the story of your day. It was exactly the style we were looking for; beautifully taken photos that captured the special moments, and were not posed/awkward. They were also particularly amazing at blending into the background of the day; capturing so many creative shots and subtle moments that on the day I had no idea they were taking. The days goes by in such a blur that it is these little details and moments that you want the memories of. I would also highly advise doing on a ‘people in love’ shoot with them beforehand – this was something I was initially unsure about, but was so beneficial for us both in getting comfortable on camera, as well as producing some gorgeous pictures which we used in the wedding décor.
  
  Beyond the amazing quality of their work, Gee and Ieva were an absolute delight to work with. They are both super personable people, who put you at ease in just being yourself on camera. They are not in any way pushy, and will simply go with the flow of your day.
  
  For anyone considering a wedding photographer that captures true moments and emotion (not cheesy / posed shots), I would HIGHLY recommend Blue Colibri!

  I am so happy that Blue Colibri photographed my recent wedding! Gee and Ieva did absolutely fantastic work from beginning to end. They are professional, friendly, hard-working, and tremendously talented--my husband and I are thrilled with the photographs, and we have pretty high standards. None of the clichés or gimmicks that you see with some wedding photographers; just beautiful, unfussy images that do a wonderful job of capturing the emotions of the event. I especially appreciated how organized and calm Gee and Ieva were on our wedding day--things were a bit chaotic because my hair appointment ran late, but they handled everything beautifully and ensured that these unanticipated time constraints didn't impact our photos negatively. I also found that considering the quality of the photos and the amount of time they spent photographing our wedding, they were a lot more affordable than comparable photographers (like $800-1000 less). I would--and will--definitely recommend them to friends!

  We loved working with Blue Colibri! They were a dream come true. They made the awkward experience of being natural for engagement photos really easy-going. More importantly, they gave us stunning and artistic photos from our wedding and engagement session! Photography was really my main priority for vendors and I can't say enough good things about Gee and Ieva. They had some great ideas, had great insight for photography spots, and provided our photographs so quickly. All of our guests are so awed by the artistic quality of our photos, which make them extra special. We feel so lucky to have had them at our wedding :)

  I knew that I wanted Blue Colibri to photograph my wedding day after seeing the photography they produced for a friends wedding last year. It's daunting to choose photographers for such a momentous occasion in your life, but Gee and Ieva are incredibly skilled, professional, and equally easy-going. They are truly as invested as you in producing the best and most beautiful work possible for you to enjoy for years to come.
  
  I was so grateful to have Gee and Ieva with us on our wedding day. They felt like friends snapping beautiful pictures of us, our wedding party, some family shots; and they are particularly skilled at catching those special, candid moments. Since we planned to do all of our formal photography before the ceremony, they scouted several locations around our venue beforehand which was so helpful and kept our wedding party organized and on time.
  
  During the ceremony, cocktail hour, the speeches and when the party got going; I barely noticed that they were there. I mean this in the best way possible; they blended seamlessly into the crowd, but were right where they needed to be to capture the important moments.
  
  I can't imagine our wedding day without Gee and Ieva; they made everything so easy and natural, and you really feel like you re-live the whole day and all the happy memories through their photography. You couldn't ask for better photographers; they are efficient, organized, professional, friendly, and talented, but most of all you can trust them to create the most beautiful images possible.

  Gee and Ieva are a talented and professional couple. We left the day to them to interpret and they did a great job and capturing it all! We also used them for our engagement shoots. Thank you!!

  We LOVED having Ieva and Gee at our wedding, they were fun to work with and definitely made us relaxed during our shoot. I also found that when I was looking through the photos of our ceremony I was surprised that I didn't notice them taking so many of the shots. I actually don't remember seeing them much during the ceremony but they got a lot of great photos! They were definitely proffesional to work with and were happy to fit in with us and what we wanted.
  
  We chose our photo location and it was at a Barn that was old and falling apart a bit, I was surprised to hear that they actually went a few days before and tidied up the areas that they wanted to take pictures in! I really appreciated that.
  
  Obviously with photos, a lot can be forgiven on the day but the end product is what matters the most. We loved our photos and feel we have soooo much to choose from! We can't wait to get an album started and print our thank you cards :) THANKS BLUE COLIBRI!!
