I spent months (literally) finding the perfect photographer for our wedding. Finally after searching through about 50 different local photographers I came across Vivian’s Instagram page. She was very responsive and seemed genuine! We booked her for our engagement session and wedding day. My husband and I are quite shy but Vivian made us feel super comfortable and our engagement session went by so quickly. When we received the photos, we were blown away! Vivian really took the time to perfect the angle and lighting of each photo and the end results were amazing. She’s incredibly talented and we’re so fortunate to have had her capture our wedding day!

Vivian was AMAZING to work with for our wedding day! Prior to our big day, Vivian made sure we were on the same page in terms of the timeline, knew exactly the specific groups and people to take portraits with, what we wanted and envisioned for our wedding day, and so much more! Her professionalism and attention to detail made us feel so comforted and definitely helped me create a great clear vision of what to expect. Vivian is a great communicator and was so helpful whenever we had any questions.

During the wedding day, our whole bridal team had so much fun shooting with Vivian and her team. She made us feel comfortable! I jumped out of my seat with excitement when we saw a little preview of our bridal team photos! She is super!

I made a terrible mistake by thinking that I could somehow plan my wedding with minimal interference from my bridal party and my wedding planner. I was definitely in over my head and a lot of vendors and situations gave me enough stress that it probably took a few years off the end of my life. However, working with Vivian for our engagement shoots and on the day of our wedding was NEVER a source of my stress or worries. From day one, Vivian approached our wedding with such enthusiasm and passion that I had not expected from her or any other photographer. For both our engagement shoots, Vivian was professional and incredibly easy to work with. My husband and I aren't ones to typically be in front of the camera, but Vivian made it so effortless for us to push our comfort levels and capture tons of stunning photos. I know as a bride, you're always looking for opportunities to capture all the beautiful moments to remember your engagement and your special day. Brides are notorious for going above and beyond to achieve that perfect shot. If you're looking for a photographer who is just as eager, if not more passionate about capturing your perfect moment, you've found the right photographer. I remember being at the Dr. Sun Yat Sen garden for our final engagement shoot. It was a cold and rainy night and while my fiancé and I were ready to call it a day, Vivian worked tirelessly to ensure that we would be satisfied with the results of our shoot that day. Needless to say, the photos from that day exceeded my expectations and we are so grateful to have found a photographer who was so genuinely kind, detailed, professional, and enthusiastic as Vivian.

I really didn't know what to expect for finding a wedding photographer and was grateful that I was able to hire Vivian for my wedding. She really took the time to guide us through the process and get to know what kind of couple we were and how we wanted to remember our day. She was great company as well keeping the mood light even when the adrenaline of the wedding day was starting to wear off and the reality of the summer heat kicked in. In these times of Instagram, social media and filters it truly is astounding to see what a difference it makes when you hire a true professional like Vivian. Also, I felt that the idea of the album was really important, especially now in the time during the pandemic so that we can have the hope to share the album with our family and friends in person. It's that feeling of really sharing the moment and capturing it. Vivian nailed it. I would not hesitate to recommend her!

I initially emailed Vivian to be my pre-wedding and wedding photographer because I loved her style and portfolio. Since our very first meeting, Vivian has been friendly, responsive, and professional. Wedding photography can be a long journey but Vivian stayed connected and gave many helpful tips and reminders along the way. We would not hesitate to recommend Vivian Ng as a wedding photographer and had a wonderful experience with her. From first meeting Vivian, it was clear that she was the perfect blend of personable and professional. She is kind, hardworking, and caters her style to the interests and desires of her clients. She met with us frequently during the wedding planning process to ensure we got the photos and experience that we wanted. Vivian goes above and beyond each and every time. She is dedicated to her work and shares her wealth of experience and tips so that you are well prepared. During the whole wedding planning process, Vivian was extremely helpful by reviewing our schedule, giving pointers and tips such as buffer times and reminders for alternative plans (i.e. a second shooting location). She ensured she understood what our plan and vision was for the wedding and worked hard by taking various notes. As the wedding came closer, she followed up and provided prop suggestions for detail shots and got us to be very creative!

When the COVID restrictions tightened in December and we had to change the date, she wasn’t just a photographer but a friend who listened to our worries. She worked quickly with us to reschedule and was always super responsive when we had questions.

Vivian also has exceptional attention to detail and is SUPER creative. During the chaos of the day, it’s as if she had a mental checklist of shots with particular family members because if some were missed, she would request it right away. With regards to creativity, Vivian never fails to impress as she’s able to just think of a pose or use of a random item around you to use in the shot.

We were able to enjoy our day pretty stress free because Vivian was one of our vendors and we cannot thank her enough for all that she’s contributed and all that she’d done for us during these uncertain times. It is truly a blessing that we found her and got to work with her to create this magical day that will be remembered forever. We highly recommend Vivian to all of our friends, family, colleagues and just anyone that’s looking for a photographer in Vancouver and cannot wait to work with her again when we need photos to be taken again for future occasions.
