Visuals by Lucia is a wedding, elopement, and lifestyle photography service based in Niagara and Toronto, Ontario. Owner and lead photographer Lucia Lakatos specializes in capturing candid images of some of life’s most precious moments. She strives to preserve her couples’ emotions as the day unfolds so they can relive their wedding day for years to come, as well as candid moments where the couple can be themselves.
Services Offered
Visuals by Lucia offers two wedding collections designed to suit various event sizes and lengths. Each package includes a second photographer to ensure that every moment is captured. Couples will also receive a complimentary engagement session so they can get to know Lucia and feel comfortable and be themselves in front of the camera. After the wedding, Lucia lightly edits each photograph and newlyweds receive their images in an online gallery ready for download. This talented professional also provides lifestyle portraits including couples, family, and branding sessions for life’s other milestones.

Lucia is seriously the sweetest, caring and lovely young professional! My fiancé (Kain) and I really looked forward to having a day off to spend taking some photos in a cafe and outside around Niagara on the Lake.
It was the first time Kain and I had been photographed by a professional so it was very exciting to know that we would have amazing quality photos to hang up in our new home!
Lucia offered suggestions for locations and also kept in mind the style that Kain and I like. She was so comfortable to be around and had suggestions for poses - we both felt relaxed and so happy the whole time!
Lucia sent sample photos back within a day!!!! Like holy!!! I couldn’t stop smiling - they seriously surpassed every expectation as the colours and images turned out so beautifully!
We are so happy with all of the photos and our afternoon in Niagara on the Lake with Lucia!

Lucia was so incredible to have at my bridal shower to capture all the special moments! She brought along Morgan as a second shooter and the two of them did an amazing job. My husband and I had a fall wedding in our own backyard surrounded by only those we considered family. We are both quiet and very shy, especially with a camera around, and definitely not used to being the centre of attention.
Lucia was able to quickly get us out of our comfort shell and make us feel special. She was kind, passionate and above all else, completely genuine which was so refreshing. She was able to put us in so many beautiful poses yet somehow feeling so natural and true to our style.
Her technique is stunning and timeless and she was incredibly quick with returning the photos. I couldn't believe my eyes and for the first time I truly felt beautiful and happy.
I could go on for hours about this amazing woman, but to get to the point, Lucia very quickly became not only the photographer of our wedding, but a person who we cherished having by our side on our special day.

I’m a full-time wedding and lifestyle photographer currently based out of Toronto but I also travel frequently to Niagara. I'm a big animal lover, vegan, and painter, and love spending time outdoors!
I am the type of photographer you can count on to fix your dress AND break it down on the dance floor with you. The best part about being a photographer is making new friends and being able to connect with lovely people while capturing their happy moments. Bringing laughter and adventure to my sessions helps you get comfortable in front of the camera, as that is my #1 goal! I want to capture the most authentic version of you and your loved ones. Capturing those true authentic moments as they happen is what gets my heart beating the fastest.
