    Joel is awesome! He is very professional, very generous and he truly cares for his clients. He has a way of making you feel comfortable during the shoot and has an eye for detail. I would highly recommend him.

    Winter Wedding Photo Session

    Joel was amazing to work with!!! From the moment we first talked to him, he made us feel super at ease. He was flexible and accommodating under all the unique circumstances we faced. The day we got our pictures done was the first time we met Joel, but the whole experience was like working with a close friend. We didn’t have a lot of time to work with, but still Joel was able to capture so much beauty in that short time, and we had fun doing it! Although I may never believe him when he tells me it’s only 5 minutes further. . . Every minute it took was completely worth it. He definitely has a creative eye and is able to find the most beautiful back drop even in unexpected places! Thank you so much Joel!! Hope to work with you again in the future!!

    Best Photographer for wedding!

    Joel and his wife Summer were so attentive and amazing. They made our day so special and the procedures came out beautifully. I would use them again for any of our family moments!!

    Couldn't be happier with the memories captured!!

    Vangaaard did photos at our wedding shower and truly captured the spirit of the event! Joel is very professional and knowledgeable but even more importantly he is fun and makes everyone feel at ease, resulting in fun and candid shots!
