Based in Banff, Alberta + Kootenays and Okanagan BC. We have studios in three locations to be able to serve our clients destination wedding needs better. The Wild Vow specializes in wedding and engagement photography for couples in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise, Emerald Lake, Fernie, Cranbrook, Kimberley and the Okanagan. Owners and main photographers Megan, Emilia and Alex offer a fun and candid approach to capturing the most special moments from your wedding day.
Services Offered
Megan offers a variety of great wedding services for couples. All wedding packages include a personal online shareable gallery that is backed up for 5 years, photo prints, and high-resolution fully edited images with printing release. Add-ons such as extra hours of coverage, a second photographer, and fine-art albums are also available. The Wild Vow is also available for adventure engagement sessions, helicopter weddings, elopement photography, and couples sessions for all the great moments you would like to capture and keep forever. We also offer videography packages with our lead videographer Cam.

Stunningly beautiful
From the beginning I was so excited that Megan was able to be our photographer. Her work is unbelievably beautiful and I felt blessed that her services fit into our budget. Her communication was great, she was efficient and got straight to work the minute she walked in the door. You can tell she is experienced and knew all the shots to get. Her knowledge of Canmore was hugely helpful and she brought us to a couple different spots to get a wide variety of photos.
We had a preview of our album within 24 hours which completely blew me away. Her work is so stunningly natural and her authority during the day was very appreciated.
Highly recommend to anyone!

Mountains with Megan!
So happy with our choice of photographer for our summer Canmore wedding. Megan brought us to some magical beautiful places for photos and was so great to work with. She is is chill and relaxed which was so nice having around amongst so much chaos!

Amazing photos, and amazing photographer
It was an absolute delight to have Megan photograph our wedding in 2021 in Golden BC. She is so sweet, professional and just all around a lovely human being. I chose her based on her photos and knew my choice was perfect when we started chatting. She was great to have at our wedding and i am blown away at the beautiful photos she took. I highly recommend The Wild Vow for your wedding near or far!

Proficient and fun!
Megan was great at not only all the shots and getting flattering and dramatic photos of everyone, but is also independent, proficient, hard working and so fun!! We vibed immediately and when crises were happening, she continued to get amazing shots, helping me trust her and making me feel at ease that she had everything under control. She went above and beyond for us. Also!! The very next day she had a small sneak peek roster of photos we could share. I was blown away! Thank you Megan, I can't wait to see the rest of the pics!

Wonderful to work with
Megan was great to work with. After having to cancel our first wedding date, we changed directions with our wedding and decided to have a micro wedding through The Wild Vow. Megan made the change seamless. She was very quick with her replies and more than helpful answering all of my questions. She had put together a beautiful ceremony location and was so patient and kind. Cannot wait to see how our photos turned out! Would highly recommend Megan and The Wild Vow for your wedding planning!

Excellent wedding photographer
Megan was so amazing at our wedding weekend. She was very good at directing the wedding party as to what she wanted us to do to get the shots and was very efficient with time. This was so appreciated as the weather was 38+ degrees and we were dying in the heat. So it was good to get the photos as quickly as possible. She also gave us the quickest photo previews ever (the next day!) and we are so excited to see the rest of the wedding album! Overall, Megan was great to work with and was available via email, text or call. We knew we liked her since our initial zoom call and we're so glad we hired her. She's super sweet and fun to be around too! Which is a total bonus as she made you comfortable and authentically yourself to capture the best shots.

The Best Day Ever
From my first interaction with Megan, I had the warm and fuzzies. I knew she had the perfect vision and understood what we wanted. She was professional, friendly and literally took control of everything so we had little to nothing to manage. I walked up to my wedding spot in complete awe as somehow she had managed to create the perfect design in the perfect spot.
Megan was also our photographer, she provided direction and made us feel comfortable, she captured the perfect shots that felt very “us”. She was encouraging, made us feel good about ourselves and was so easy to talk to.
Our day was magical and it was all thanks to Megan and The Wild Vow.

Made our day so incredibly special
Megan captured every moment beautifully.
I booked a boudoir shoot the day before my wedding with her and made me feel very comfortable as I had never done anything like that before. The moments she captured on my wedding day were so incredibly stunning as well.
She drove us around Banff to get the best shots and did not disappoint. Highly recommend her!
