    My husband & Melissa are childhood friends so that is initially how we knew about her work. Her portfolio is packed with stunning pictures so it was a no brainer to ask Melissa to document our wedding. Melissa is an absolute dream. Everyone was so relaxed while she captured photos from the start to finish of our wedding. Carly, her assistant, was also amazing. We had such a blast strolling around the French Quarter taking pictures & capped off the day with a wicked party. We love our wedding pictures.

    I would recommend Melissa to anyone for any type of photographing job. Her work is wonderful. And by the end of your experience with her, she will feel like a long lost friend.

    Melissa was a excellent photographer and I would and do reccommend her to anyone needing someone to document their day. All the pictures that were taken captured our wedding day well and she was able to take all the photos we were looking for. Pricing was excellent one of the more affordable photographers that I saw out there. She made the sometimes exhausting task of getting your pictures taken fun and quick which made the our wedding day run even smoother. Thanks Melissa you did an amazing job! Angela & Andrew Low

    I honestly could not have asked for a better photographer to have shoot my wedding! Melissa was so amazing throughout the entire process (the whole year and a bit that I was planning my wedding). She put me at ease over everything. It rained, thunderstormed, and hailed on my wedding day (the sun did come out eventually) but through it all, Melissa was totally calm and took AMAZING pictures. I 100% recommend this girl to anyone...

    Melissa was a real pleasure to work with. She had some amazing ideas on locations and I felt (as well as my family) very relaxed and comfortable with her. The pictures she took for me for both my wedding and family shoot were outstanding, with some shots she took without me even knowing she was taking!! We will always use Melissa for our family pictures and would recommend her to anyone!!!! She is friendly, reliable, understanding (I have two small boys) and the quality of her pictures are the best I have seen!!!!

    Melissa did an excellent job capturing our engagement photos and our wedding day. She is friendly and comfortable to work with. Also her pictures are unique, creative and fun! We had many great compliments on our wedding pictures. We highly recommend Melissa Crannie!

    I would definately recommend Melissa to any one looking for a fun and fabulous photographer! She photographed our wedding in September of 2008 and we had many compliments on our photographs!
