  Alastair went above and beyond for our engagement photos and our wedding.

  Alastair helped capture every moment of our day. He made everyone comfortable in front of the camera and was so efficient at getting back to us for any questions we had along the way. We had over 700 photos back within two weeks!! Absolutely amazing service and the quality of the photos has been admired by everyone who has seen them! Highly recommend.

  Stunning Photography and Great Person!

  Alastair was an absolutely amazing person and photographer; making our day so laid-back yet professional with his funny, relaxed personality! He made us feel like naturals in front of the camera and you can really see the passion he has for photography and capturing the perfect moments. We cannot recommend him enough and can't wait to see the beautiful pictures he took on our perfect wedding day September 30th!

  Absolutely Incredible

  He is the most amazing photographer! The photographs he took were absolute dreams. Complete perfection. He worked with us, laughed with us, chatted, and was patient as we fumbled trying to look posed nicely. The posed photos were amazing, but he runs around like a silent ninja and took my absolute favourites - the candid shots. As my husband and I were laughing our heads off, he was still snapping photos, and they were our favourites hands down. We also looked at the photos and realized that during the ceremony he snapped shots from every single angle but we had no idea he even moved! He truly is a silent ninja. We could not be more thrilled with his skills with people, lighting, angles, and capturing every gorgeous moment of the amazing day. And he got the most perfect bokeh in our first dance photos. Thrilled doesn’t cover how happy we are.

  Our wedding experience with Alastair

  My (now) wife and I were grateful to work with Alastair. The moments Alastair captured from our wedding were amazing and everyone was incredibly impressed with the photography. Alastair had a very calming presence which made it really easy to be ourselves around him and be comfortable posing for pictures! Thanks for the amazing photos that we’ll cherish forever!

  Alastair was absolutely incredible to work with! We would recommend him in a heart beat!
  
  Before the wedding, he was willing to meet with us to go over the details of his services, and even to give advice on the timing for our photos, in order to try and ensure good lighting conditions. He was very helpful in discussing locations for the photo shoot, and also flexible to ensure we could take the photos in a place we loved.
  
  During the wedding he was highly professional, and was kind and entertaining in all interactions with our guests. A number of people there commented after the fact that they enjoyed his presence.
  
  He made us feel very comfortable during the photo shoot. He was good at giving direction, and kept us laughing and smiling throughout. He was also receptive to our ideas for different places to take photos. We were really impressed with how much fun we had doing the photo shoot!
  
  The turnaround time for our photos was less than two weeks.
  
  Finally, both the candid photos from the ceremony itself, and the poses in the photo shoot afterward turned out incredibly. The photos are beautiful, and exceeded our expectations. Everyone we have shared them with have been very impressed. We especially loved the effects he was able to capture in the light of the setting sun. We will cherish them for the rest of our lives.

  Alastair is the most calm, cool and collected photographer! He floats around creating magic everywhere and captures the most special moments. We could not be happier with our wedding photos and highly recommend Alastair.

  Alastair is Amazing!!

  My husband and I got married at Century Barn and Alastair from MacPherson Images was included in our package. We met Alastair the day of our wedding and instantly it felt like we'd known him for years, like he was an old friend. We felt right away that our wedding photos would be amazing.
  
  Our wedding timeline was a bit behind as we delayed our ceremony for about 45 minutes due to a rainstorm. Even with a delayed schedule, Alastair still worked his magic. He hung out with myself and my bridesmaids in the bridal suite during the delay capturing some great photos of us just having fun. Come ceremony time he was able to capture every angle and aspect of the ceremony, he was everywhere at the right moment. Family photos after the ceremony are some of our favourite photos that we will cherish forever. We have a pretty big family but Alastair was able to wrangle us all together and take the best photos. We also had a very large wedding party (10 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, 2 flower girls and 1 ring bearer and the 2 of us). Alastair was able to work his magic with such a big group. He is also amazing with kids. He did such an amazing job with my niece (our flower girl) when we were doing bridesmaid photos, he had her laughing and smiling the whole time. As I mentioned before we had a rainstorm on our wedding day and by the time we took our after dinner photos and golden hour photos the clouds and sky made for a beautiful backdrop. Seriously, some of the coolest pictures I’ve ever seen.
  Alastair is a powerhouse and is fantastic at what he does. The entire day he was everywhere he needed to be at all of the right moments and was able to capture every single moment of our special day. You can truly see the passion and care that Alastair has for photography. We received our photos back from him very quickly and we were beyond impressed with the photos.
  
  We highly recommend Alastair (MacPherson Images) for wedding photography. You will not be disappointed. His work is beyond beautiful and gives you photos that you will cherish forever. Alastair is amazing!

  Fantastic Photographer

  We had a wonderful experience with Alastair. He was quick to respond and to video chat with us, he was open to our ideas, and he seemed very passionate about his work. On the day of he was early, friendly, and super professional. He is great at getting all the angles and honestly most of the time we didn't even notice he was around. Looking back at the photos we wondered why didn't we see him take these? Or how did he get that one without getting too close to us? What we liked most is that he didn't take pictures of us eating dinner but instead let us enjoy our meal with our families. We never felt like we were getting pulled away, instead we got to enjoy our night and he allotted enough time for pictures. Finally, we received the pictures after just a few days and were very happy with the results. Highly recommend!

  WOW!!! My husband and I got married in July and Alastair literally took our breath away with his images. He was insanely professional and VERY easy to work with. I do not know how he keeps so calm under all the wedding photo chaos but he was AMAZING!!! Not only did he capture every moment so beautifully and know all of the most beautiful places for pictures at our venue but he also got all of our images back to us SO quickly. My husband and I were so impressed by his speed and quality of our images upon our photo return. He was also very easy to talk to and made both my husband and I comfortable throughout the night with our photos. We will most definitely be recommending Alastair to our friends and colleagues who are getting married in future.
