We initially loved working with Katie and appreciated that she even gave us extra time the day we got married. After providing final payment and giving her a generous tip for this, she fell off of the map for two weeks. This was extremely concerning, especially as she said she would send us some preview images within 48 hours. My husband and I eloped, so it was disappointing that we didn’t have any photos to show our family or friends. Once Katie did finally get in touch with us, it took another month to get a slideshow of the photos (not the actual high res photos). After countless emails to try to get an update, we finally received our photos about two months after we got married. However, there were a large portion of the photos that were in black and white, which I felt was a quick way to get out of editing. After asking Katie to send us the colour versions of these photos (even if they were raw and unedited), she ghosted us. I sent her emails, texts and Instagram messages that were all ignored. I’m incredibly saddened by this, as these are the only photos we have of our day. Unfortunately, I would not recommend working with Katie.

How does one begin to summarize the exceptional work that Katie does?! From start to finish Katie was an absolute treat to work with. My husband was less than excited about photography for the wedding but after one FaceTime conversation with Katie she had persuaded him to the point he was just as excited about photos as I was and signed up for a ‘day after the wedding shoot’.

Katie really helped us with planning the timeline of our wedding day and offered out suggestions for organizing as we went along which was very much appreciated by us. On the day Katie was relaxed and incredibly flexible with our timeline which was somewhat dictated by rainy weather. All of our guest commented on her fantastic ability to get to know people and make them feel comfortable.

The weather the days following our wedding were less than ideal for our ‘day after shoot’ but Katie was awesome and left us with several options to make our photo dreams come true. She was excellent at directing us to achieve relaxed but appealing portraits.

Katie was incredibly quick at getting a few taster shots out to us from both the wedding day and also our photo shoot and we were absolutely blown away with the quality of her photos. They capture the mood of the day and our sentiment and are just simply beautiful. We shared a few images with friends and family and have had such amazing responses too.

Both of us have said that we will be booking back in with Katie for a future family photo shoot once we have children!

Would 100% recommend katie for your wedding photographer. She is so nice, easy going and listens to exactly what you want. She captured every moment of our big day perfectly. I love looking back on our photos I feel like I'm back in that day again.

We ended up looking to hire a photographer 3 weeks before our Muskoka wedding. Katie was responsive, reassuring and overall amazing. The photos were beautiful, she fit in seamlessly with our families and she was a welcome addition to our very small celebration.

Booking Katie was one of the BEST decisions we made during our wedding planning process. From the moment we connected on Skype, till our hugs goodbye at the end of the night, we were on the same page.
