Heidi F. Sent on 11/11/2017We are SO happy with our photos from Hyperfocus! The day really does go by in a flash and it was so fun to be able to relive moments and see our big day through the eyes of our guests.
We chose Justin and Steff over other photographers for a couple of reasons: - Their amazing portfolio of work. They have a beautiful mix of photojournalism style and are also happy to take a ton of more traditional/posed family photos for our parents and grandparents
- Even before they were hired, they were quick to respond to calls & emails.
- Justin laughed at all of my husband's goofy jokes and made us feel comfortable and relaxed in our consultation. We took this as a sign that we would be comfortable and relaxed during our photosession. And we were.
- Working with a husband and wife team as we made the commitment to be husband and wife to one another was awesome.
- Their quick turn around time. This one really cinched the deal for us. Other photographers we spoke to quoted us 3-6 months turnaround for all the wedding photos. Steff & Justin had our photos back to us within a month of the wedding. This is their full time job, not a hobby, and it absolutely showed.
Steff & Justin chose a beautiful secluded spot on Granville Island and our first look was the most magical moment of the day. They captured all of the tenderness and emotion of this moment in the photos, and even looking at the photos brings tears to my eyes.
During the getting ready, ceremony, speeches, and dancing, the Hyperfocus team grabbed some fantastic candids, and had such great energy. We had so many people compliment us on how nice our photographers were.
Our wedding photos are true treasures. My husband's grandfather passed away about a month after our wedding and our photographs became even more priceless. We are so thankful to have such beautiful photographs of our friends and our family, capturing all of the love that we were blessed with as we said, 'I do.'

They were casual and personable, putting everyone at ease, while shooting the most professional and gorgeous shots along the way. Despite planning a destination wedding from Texas, the process was seamless. Hyperfocus was the only photography group we met with in Vancouver, and immediately we knew we were in good hands. This is a duo you definitely want to have at your wedding! They even customized a casual photo booth capturing action shots of all of our guests to serve as our guestbook -- priceless! I proudly have their photos hanging in my house today. They captured some of the most amazing architectural shots of Vancouver from Hotel Georgia and Bridges.

Bessie Sent on 04/11/2017From the first time we sat down to meet with Justin, through our engagement shoot, then the wedding day and after, we found Justin and Steff both delightful people to get to know and highly-skilled photographers justifiably proud of their craft. What great ambassadors they are for wedding photographers in Vancouver! We were so comfy with them because they communicated well, and could reliably be counted on to do what they say and say what they will do. We also received a wonderful education on how to lay out our wedding album, with Steff working closely with my husband to craft it. We're very happy with our photos and our family and friends love them too, and have spent no little time ooh-ing and aah-ing over the canvas and our album. Last but not least, they managed to capture our day so well without being the least bit obtrusive or making our guests feel or do awkward things. Bravo!Hyperfocus photography's reply:

They are not only great photographers but also a wonderful resource in planning a wedding. They offered so many suggestions and advice. We felt so comfortable with them. We order canvas prints from our engagement shoot and everyone who enters our home stops to look at them and gushes. This investment will be worth every penny.Hyperfocus photography's reply:

They capture the best moments without you even noticing that they're there! Our wedding pictures are beautiful reminders of a gloriously happy day, but they're also treasured memories of the family members we have lost since then. Thanks, Steff & Justin!

We had Steff and Justin do an engagement session for us as well as photograph our wedding day. They were one of the easiest choices in our wedding planning. We not only had a fun time with Steff and Justin while they took photos but also enjoyed getting to know them. They also went above and beyond to make sure we loved our wedding album.
