Danielle is nothing short of amazing, all around. 10/10! She was an absolute pleasure to work with during the whole process, from meeting her for the first time over coffee, our engagement and family photo shoot, and all the way leading up to and including late on our wedding day. She went above and beyond to capture candid and beautiful shots that truly caught the atmosphere of our day. It’s hard to pick favourites as the photos taken that day were all creative, fun, and best of all, real. We look at them over and over, reliving the awesome day, and can’t help but grin ear-to-ear. We highly recommend Danielle. Not only does she have an impressive portfolio, she is very responsive and an excellent communicator, attentive and caring of your requests, very punctual, and does a marvellous job of editing (and quicker than we expected as well, as a plus - though we fully understand it can take up to 6 to 8 weeks). Above that, she is such a fun and lovely person to be around and to have on your special day; she has become a dear friend. She will be our top choice photographer for all events, no doubt about it.

Danielle asked us for feedback after the wedding. I'll tell you her questions and my responses.

Did you have any fears about hiring me? If so, how did I relieve those fears?

We had no fears hiring you, we had looked at and met with a few photographers but I had a good feeling about you from the get go. I told Jorden in the car before we even met you for the first time that I was pretty sure you would be the one haha! Then you also ordered peppermint tea, treated us, and blew us away with not only your photos, but your kindness and organization.

How was your overall experience?

Our experience was outstanding. When we started planning the wedding, photography honestly wasn't a priority for me (because I mean really how many of your parent's wedding pictures are even hanging up?) Then we met you and saw the stories you could tell through your beautifully simple outlook on life. From the time you agreed to come for supper (and share your incredible sourdough), to offering to stay an extra hour to catch even more of our party when you were clearly tuckered from our day, our hearts were so happy. We are incredibly fortunate to know you and to have your talented photos to treasure!

What would you say to a couple that was on the fence about hiring me?

Scoop her up as fast as possible! Danielle has an eye for great light, great moments, and great locations. She is so lovely to spend time with, doesn't make the situation uncomfortable, and gets to know her clients in the most genuine way! Her organization, turn around time, and professionalism are truly impressive. She's actually just the best.

If you ordered an album, how does it feel to have a tangible reminder of your wedding?

We didn't order an album, you had mentioned this might be a possibility though? Samples or something... I forget?

As for other words, we are so so happy with our wedding photos. The moments you captured were some of our most favourite ones of the day. We appreciate all of your hard work and passion for your art, it really shines. Thank you for everything!

Danielle was phenomenal. I would rate her 20/10. Here is how things leading up to our wedding, the day of, and post-wedding went:

I contacted Danielle a month before our wedding, and luckily, she was available on our day. We chatted over text and arranged a time to meet in person where she spent the time getting to know us and what we were looking for in a photographer.

Leading up to the wedding, we exchanged many emails so she knew exactly what the plan was on the day of the wedding, what shots we wanted, a family photo list etc. She asked the right kind of questions so come the wedding day, she was well prepared.

On the day of the wedding, she arrived early and was eager to start shooting! Danielle was great with our wedding party - we needed guidance and she lead the charge telling us what needed to be done. It was a windy day but Danielle knew how to deal with it and use it to her advantage.

Danielle was super easy going. I forgot to put a seat out at supper for her but she wasn't phased and rolled with it - sorry Danielle!

Now the important part - how the photos turned out. Every single photo exceeded our expectations. She knows how to catch the light, and perfectly capture the moment. The photos are beautifully candid and exactly represent how our day felt.

Danielle is amazing to work with and she is immensely talented. I would highly recommend her for any occasion!

Danielle is an absolute gem of a human. She's so genuine and fun to be around which made my otherwise-uncomfortable husband feel comfortable getting our photos taken. She went above and beyond for us and I will appreciate her for the rest of our lives. Can't wait to see the photos

Hiring Danielle as our wedding photographer was the best decision we could have made. After sitting down with her for our initial meeting, we felt like we had known her for a lot longer than 30 minutes. She was personable, professional and very organized, which helped alleviate some of our wedding planning stress. She was consistently in contact with us from the first time we met her right through to our wedding day. We never felt as though the photography portion was something we had to worry about, as she was so on top of everything.

During our engagement session, as well as on our wedding day, my husband and I never felt awkward (which is huge for us when it comes to photos!) Danielle had a way of making the experience enjoyable and lighthearted for everybody involved. The number of genuine laughs she captured was proof of how much fun we had throughout the entire process. She sent all photos to us in a timely manner and we were thrilled with the results. We received such a good balance of portraits and candids, which is exactly what we were hoping for. Her work perfectly captured memories that will we will cherish for a lifetime and we can't wait to hire her again for some family sessions in the future!
