Carly is a talented photographer
Carly did a wonderful job as our wedding photographer! From the beginning of planning, she made us feel comfortable and special. She woke up super early to do a sunrise engagement shoot with us at Moraine Lake and reassured us when it started pouring rain (which she got some really cool photos out of). She did a great job making us laugh for some natural looking shots since this was both our first time for a photoshoot. She was also really great with our dog and was able to get some really nice photos of him!
On the day of our wedding she was a calming presence during a sometimes-stressful day. Our friends and family commented on how great she was and we were so happy to have her there as our photographer. The sneak peaks she sent us look awesome and we can’t wait to see the full gallery once it’s ready!Carly Hill Photo's reply:

How to put into words our love for Carly. She is beyond amazing. From the first time we met with her, she was approachable, personable, and honest. She made us feel so comfortable and really took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple which not all photographers we met with did. She made sure we were a good fit for each other as well, because it was important to her that we got what we were looking for and didn’t want us to hire her if she couldn’t give us the style/vision we wanted. The honesty was refreshing and started a great relationship.
Her style of shooting made us so comfortable in front of the camera to really have fun and be ourselves and not worry about angles, etc. This made for much more natural and genuine expressions and emotions in every photo.
For our engagement shoot, we had some unexpected weather and changed the location on our way out. She was well prepared and had an awesome secondary location in mind for us without skipping a beat or wasting any time! For our wedding photos she also had great secondary locations planned for us that may have been spots you’ve driven by so many times, but she saw the beauty of what they COULD be and really captured some beautiful photos.
She is so easy to work with, open in communication, responsive, punctual, and flexible which was so helpful when navigating a pandemic. She has continued to go more than above and beyond for us, and we are so incredibly grateful! When we had to change our date, we made her availability a priority because after starting our adventure with her, we could not imagine doing it without her and are so happy we found her!
Carly is truly talented and will make you feel like you are spending time with a friend and not just a client. If you are looking to laugh, have fun and capture those candid moments of your day, or are feeling adventurous, Carly is your gal. You will not regret it!Carly Hill Photo's reply:

Carly is the best!!
We could not have been happier with our wedding photography experience and results. Carly is the most incredible human to work with and she is ultra talented when it comes to finding the perfect shot! I would recommend her over and over and over again :) -

Highly Recommend - Tons of Fun + Beautiful Photos
We did a wedding photo shoot with Carly and it was awesome! Carly looked after all the details and kept us in the loop as we had to make some changes due to weather. She is great at making you feel comfortable, and even my fiancé who doesn’t love photos said he had lots of fun! We also got more then a few sneak peek photos less than 24 hours after! We Highly Recommend Carly Hill Photography
We hired Carly Hill to photograph our wedding. We were so pleased with her professionalism and artistic ability to capture us on our special day. Carly Hill scouted out all the best locations ahead of time and kept us moving to each spot efficiently. Carly Hill had us smiling and laughing and made every shot fun and new. Carly Hill Photo absolutely nailed this wedding. She was able to capture our personalities and our spirits on film. I understand how difficult it must be to want nothing more then to honor that moment for us, but she blow our minds with how professional and stress free she made the whole experience. The time was taken to scope out this beautiful island we brought her too and she did not fail to disappoint. From climbing cliffs to catch that perfect wave to scaling a mountain before the sun rise Carly was on it and captured moments far beyond our wildest imaginations. She allowed use to bath in her aura of calmness during every shutter of her lens. Saying it was comforting is an understatement. It is not an exaggeration to say that she brought anything short of jocularity, virtuoso, and dignity to the whole experience. We thank you from the bottom our hearts for the memories you were able to seize.

Amazing- sind and knowledgeable
phenomenal unique pics!
it was pouring rain and she acted fast and accurately. Carly was kind and patient the whole time. She even donated her extra time because we were running behind, so she could capture the later photos (sparkler shots). She was amazing at directing us in what to do, and capturing amazing shots in horrible cold weather (you can barely tell that it's raining!). I would highly recommend her!Carly Hill Photo's reply:

From day one Carly was friendly, approachable and very willing to share her knowledge and tips. She is very skilled at capturing all of the emotions and special candid moments that happen during a wedding. She was extremely flexible and understanding when we had to shift our wedding plans during the year of the pandemic. I love how all of the photos turned out and am so excited to work with Carly again next year! -

We hired Carly for our wedding in Vernon BC. She did absolutely amazing! She was super quick to responding & helped me with ideas for photos, she was just so sweet and knew exactly what she was doing. She was amazing with our son and niece. Super easy to have a conversation with and also very fun and she also made sure I was very comfortable.
She was very quick with our sneak peaks. We haven’t received our whole album yet as our wedding was just a few days ago but I am so excited to see the amazing photos she took! I highly recommend Carly!Carly Hill Photo's reply:
