She exceeded our expectations in all areas - though most especially with her willingness to spend the weekend with us capturing moments. The quality of her pictures are incredible and her ability to coordinate and make it all happen - exceptional! She truly captured our wedding so beautifully. We love all of the pics and especially love the ones of all of our friends and family - the best part is - she's able to get all of the shots subtly. Somehow she blended in and people didn't even know she was there. Amazing.

We loved working with Melissa so much that we are also having her create our wedding photo album along with 4 other albums for our parents.

Melissa was very easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable during all of our sessions. We had very little experience posing in front of a camera but she helped direct us when we really needed it. Our photos turned out very natural, like we actually knew what we were doing! She went above and beyond our expectations. We had a very unique situation where we had to do an early (but very important) civil ceremony and she did not hesitate in agreeing to help shoot this for us in addition to the engagement shoot, ceremony and reception, which we are so grateful for. It rained on our wedding day, but Melissa was already prepared with matching clear umbrellas for our entire wedding party! We finally received all of our photos and we are sooo happy!

Melissa was excellent from start to finish and provided and excellent array of products and services. She was incredibly friendly and was willing to accommodate our needs to make everything perfect. She took the time to get to know us and reviewed potential locations and the wedding venue prior to our big day which made everything run very smoothly. On our wedding day she was very professional and efficient. We were also repeatedly told by all the guests that they thought Melissa was wonderful and she was able to capture some wonderful candid shots without being intrusive which was great. I would definitely recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a photographer.

Melissa is absolutely, 100% amazing! We were so nervous getting our photos done, and she did everything in her power to make our dream photos come true (without being a photo-zilla) for our engagement shots and big wedding day.
Melissa is very personable, hard-working, attentive to the small details, creative with her photography ideas, and overall a genuine and beautiful person. She picked the perfect lighting and communicated to us what would work best with our photos, while working with the spots we requested for particular photos. She also made for sure to arrange times photography so that we could enjoy our day and have a glass of bubbles, which was greatly appreciated. Lastly, our biggest fear of getting a wedding photographer was having too many posed photos, but Melissa approached our wedding like a photojournalist, and she caught the most candid, precious photos we will cherish forever.

We were nervous about our complimentary engagement shoot as we had no prior experience posing for a professional photographer - but our worries were quickly put aside as Melissa made us feel extremely comfortable in front of her lens. She has an eye for the perfect backdrop that is inspiring and her end product photos are even more spectacular.

She responds to emails and texts in a timely manner and offers advice and guidance when needed. Come the big day, she is on time and well prepared. Her "day of" wedding questionnaire puts every bride at ease as it lists out every item (and more) that anyone would want to immortalize on a wedding day.

My sister and brother-in-law are usually uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Melissa helped them feel super comfortable on their wedding day, and they really appreciated all her guidance. Melissa is a very warm, fun, and organized personality, and she was easy to work with before, during, and after the wedding. The photos turned out beautifully and everyone looked their best.

We do not have enough good things to say about Melissa and BAKE Photography! You can look through her portfolio and see her amazing photos, but it’s not until you have your own session with her that you realize the talent and her incredible eye for the “perfect shot”. My husband and I were blessed to have Melissa as our photographer for our engagement photos and wedding in Scottsdale, Arizona. We spent two days shooting engagement photos in the Arizona desert; off roading through brush to get to the ideal location, employing props such as cow skulls, lassos and horses as well as multiple outfit changes. The outcome was photos beyond our wildest dreams. Melissa captured the right amount of love, cheesy and glamor that our friends and family all swooned over.

Our wedding day was nothing less than magical and Melissa captured those moments in the most timeless fashion. Because she spent the day prior scouting the venue with me, she had a plan and kept to our strict timeline. She made all of our wedding party feel so comfortable and was able to direct everyone on where to go and how to pose so easily. Even with the chaos of the huge family photos we took after the ceremony, she was able to complete those and still capture the incredible sunset shots (as well as our wedding Beer Burro!) as we raced the sun before heading off to the reception. She was able to get every shot we asked for and more! We would highly recommend Melissa; how could you entrust the memories of the biggest day of your lives to anyone else?
