I do not recommend Amanda. She had to “re-schedule” the morning of our engagement photoshoot and didn’t even give us a reason why. We were very disappointed. She could have at least given us a reason for rescheduling. Even way, rescheduling the morning of the shoot is very unprofessional.

Amanda made our wedding dreams come true by organizing the vendors for a breath taking elopement ! Not only did Amanda scout the perfect place to say our vows her package included hair, makeup , a cake , bouquet and boutonniere! Her elopement package takes the stress off your special day and she caters to exactly what YOU what on your day! After saying our vows by a beautiful river in the rain (note book worthy ) we hiked to a water fall and jumped in! Our wedding was a day we will never forget and we can’t thank Amanda enough for organizing this spectacular day!

Amanda was amazing through our whole experience. Unfortunately we could not have her for our wedding to take pictures because we had to move our wedding day. But I would recommend her to anyone. She was so nice and caring and she really wants to make a connection with each of her clients. Her work is amazing. The only thing I was not happy about was that because we had to cancel with her is that the money is not refundable. We know with covid people are losing out money with their business. We just wanted Mayne at least half our money back.

Amanda was our photographer and videographer for our engagement as well as our wedding! She is so kind, easy to work with, punctual, fun, responsible, attentive , great communication and has a great attention to detail, and the list goes on. I would highly recommend Amanda. Thank you so much for capturing the best day of our lives! :)

I have debated writing this review for months but after talking to other models and photographers who have had similar experiences I cannot keep quiet any longer.

I was a model in one of Amanda’s retreats a while back and the experience was terrible, demeaning and unprofessional to say the least. If you are considering modeling for her retreat or even joining one stay clear.

First I want to talk about Amanda herself. She is terrible. She was body shaming models myself included and made me feel so ugly for no reason at all. She also was constantly making passive aggressive comments and being extremely rude to us while modeling for her. Rolling her eyes, mean comments, etc. She gave zero guidance what so ever. It was basically a free for all and we had 3 photographers yelling directions at us and she would get mad when we didn’t understand what she wanted or who to listen to. She did not guide the photographers what so ever. She would push girls out of the way to get her shot, and when I say push I mean literally shove them out of her way. She would shoot down other photographers ideas and was basically treating girls like their ideas were dumb. A girl wanted to use a prop in a certain way and Amanda literally ripped it out of her hand. A girl would ask me to have my hands a certain way for one shot and Amanda would tell me to change it. Her job was to be a mentor and instead she was being passive aggressive with other girls, giving no guidance and overall just being a bully. If I was a photographer I probably would have cried over some of the comments she said to the girls that were there. It was basically a “put them all down for no reason” moment. If a girl had a question I kid you not she would purposefully ignore them because she didn’t want to listen. She would pretend not to hear them until someone else would speak up for them or us. She was like talking to someone who wanted nothing to do with you. As a teacher and mentor that is literally her job to answer questions, be uplifting, give advice and help these girls out as well as her models. She didn’t do any of that.

My biggest issue is when it came to the location and her lack of communication. When I say she showed up to the wrong location and then was over a hour or two late to meet I’m not exaggerating. I couldn’t even get a text back from her at all. It was so beyond poorly organized and she left myself and vendors standing around for over a hour and no one could get ahold of her. Not even an apology when she finally did show up. We modeled and it was a mess but got through everything and then afterwards she walked off and didn’t say thank you, I’m sorry, or even acknowledge us at all. Basically walked off and we never heard from her again. The whole situation was absolutely insane to me and I will be telling others to steer clear from here on out.

In the months since I have also found some other information about her out. After finding out what some of these girls paid to be there and the lack of respect for her models and vendors I cannot believe she is still putting them on. She seems like she puts these on to fund her own content with little regard for actually helping the vendors or photographers who participate. I later found out that if people bring up issues with her she will offer partial refunds in return for NDA’s. Absolutely unacceptable and why finding the truth on this chick is hard to find. She’s changed and deleted her Facebook multiple times to avoid people finding information when she gets blasted. Not to mention for her retreats she uses other photographers work and is on a website showing the years she’s done it. I promise the body shaming, nasty comments and lack of respect for you will be worth it to not work with her. I wish someone would have told me this last year before working with her. I feel terrible for the photographers who pay a thousand dollars for the lack of organization, communication and overall crappy experience. Stay clear of “adventurous souls retreats” as well. Listen to her 1 star reviews. They’re being truthful.

Amanda is so bubbly and friendly, she makes you smile being around her. She does an amazing job capturing moments between myself and my new husband! She did both our engagement shoot and our wedding. And he hates getting his picture taken! She was always coming up with creative ideas for pictures and making us look good doing them. Definitely recommend!
