Rev Rachelle
About
Rev. Rachelle Foster is a non-denominational legal Officiant based in Pembroke, who offers personalized wedding ceremonies, ranging from traditional to non-traditional. She believes your wedding ceremony ought to be a reflection of who you are as a couple. It is a way of expressing your love and devotion to one another in your own unique way. Rev. Rachelle has three basic types of service; just the paperwork, elopements and full weddings.
Services Offered
Rev. Rachelle is approachable and open-minded. She has one goal in mind; to provide a meaningful and memorable experience for you and your guests. She also offers commitments/pledges ceremonies (spiritually binding, not legal), which are based upon the established wedding packages.
Full wedding service includes personalization of the ceremony, help with finding/writing vows, and assistance with figuring out the logistics of ceremony itself within various venues. Rehearsals are not usually needed but are available upon request at an additional cost.
Elopements are for couples who do not want a large wedding, or for couples planning a destination wedding and want to make their marriage legal here in Canada. Elopements involve the couple and two witnesses, and there is no formal script; only basic service is provided which makes things legal. If you choose this option it is your responsibility to advise your guests things will be short and sweet.
Just the paperwork involves meeting at a location of the Officiant's choosing (usually a cozy coffee shoppe) and signing papers. The couple is "pronounced" and that's all there is. This service can be performed on short notice depending upon availability.
How She Works
For some couples saving money is very important but they still want the full wedding. A compromise might be to consider doing "Just the paperwork" or elopement to make things legal, and then have a close friend or family member "Officiate" your wedding ceremony where guests are present. This can often be a more intimate, fun and memorable way to go and might even be coordinated on the same day depending on availability. It is her mission to find the best option that works for each couple so that they can have their wedding, their way, within a price they can afford.
