Deborah Vaughan, of Rev. Deb Weddings and Sweetheart Chapel Niagara, loves celebrating weddings. She realizes it is an honour to share in your very important day and ensure that your ceremony runs smoothly and happily. The finest inns and hotels in Niagara have chosen her for their preferred officiant lists, and premier wineries and chapels - along with other venues - call on her when their couples request an officiant. Couples have described her as a consummate professional who is also fun, friendly, and lighthearted. Her motto is Your Wedding, Your Way!
An Experienced Officiant
People call her "Rev Deb." That is a title she has carried since her early days as an Anglican Priest. These days, she is the presiding bishop of the Community Catholic Church of Canada, an inclusive and progressive community. She is also one of The Angel Ladies and a therapeutic touch practitioner. Her specialty is creating ceremonies that reflect the wishes and feelings of each couple.
Rev Deb has been offering weddings, elopements, renewal of vows, and commitment ceremonies for more than 30 years Always up for fun theme weddings, she has also been known to dress as a pirate, don a witches' hat for Halloween, or come in costume for a medieval wedding. Bringing a richness of experience, Rev. Deb has officiated at weddings for 20-somethings all the way up to 90-somethings, and welcomes all couples, including same-sex and transgender couples. Love is to be celebrated.

Say "I Do" with Rev Deb
She listened to our requests and fitted them in nicely with her outline, and patiently went through the ceremony with us — before and during, those nerves really make you forgetful!
Rev. Deb performed with Love Box ceremony, a suggestion that really showed our guests (in-person and virtual) our kind of commitment to each other: it's not the flashiest, but it's substantial — with lots of support from our loved ones and each other.
Please allow Rev. Deb to bless your wedding, your journey into married life will have such a loving, humourous, and exciting start!
