My husband and I did not want a stuffy, boring, or long ceremony. We had a zoom call (during covid) with Wayne and instantly knew we wanted him to marry us. He is funny and charming and all around a very personable guy. He customized our ceremony to us and included our kids in a special ceremony as well. We had Patrick at let’s tie the knot officiate our wedding ceremony. Not only was he fun and expressive, but he was so kind and acknowledged our needs and accommodated them! Our officiant made everything seamless and incredibly easy for us, gave wedding party cues & even helped us figure out our timeline for the bridal party to walk. Truly it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend him 1000x over! Meet the team
Wayne became a marriage commissioner after being asked by his daughter to officiate her wedding ceremony. Being able to create something that was so unique and personal for her and his son-in-law was a true joy. Many friends and family commented on how the ceremony touched them, evoked emotions and even made them laugh, so he decided to offer his services to other couples.
Wayne is very passionate about being a marriage commissioner. He is a casual, laid back person who brings that demeanor to meetings and the ceremony itself. He also possess a sarcastic wit and is happy to add humour to a ceremony if that is one of your wishes. He wants you to be able to relax and fully enjoy the journey that leads to your wedding day.
Wayne creates the scripts for Let's Tie The Knot and will help you create a ceremony that truly reflects your personalities and is as individual and unique as you are.
It seems like we have all been to the same boring ceremony time and time again. Let’s Tie The Knot will marry you YOUR way, with a creative and personalized ceremony that reflects who you are as a couple and will live in the memories of all who share the day with you.
Patrick brings a great energy to each ceremony that he conducts. He is an articulate speaker and very comfortable presenting to groups of all sizes.
Patrick continues to work in the hospitality sector as well as being an educator. He can best be described as a "people person" with an outgoing personality and relaxed demeanour.
Patrick is also an experienced bartender, so if you think that you may need a drink on your wedding day - who better to call upon?
Chantalle became an officiant when her cousin asked her to conduct their ceremony, it led her to realize that she could combine her love of writing and weddings to be a part of many joyful days. She loves the creativity, as well as working with people to make their dreams reality.
Chantalle is an avid dog lover, and volunteers much of her time with Manitoba Underdogs Rescue, as well as spending time with her own 3 dogs.
